Oh Gawd this pre-race is a little painful...now I am remembering why I don't typically watch it!
Ok! Stop the presses - Chase begins today in case you didn't know!
And we appear to have another tight race in the Trifecta so if nothing else, that should keep the race interesting.
Whose around to chat!?

me, but I don't have satellite anymore so I need details and lots of them! Dwindy is pretty good at that!lol
ReplyDeleteOk Bev, we will keep you in the know. You know there are a few places on the web that you can watch the video feed.
ReplyDeleteUn-hanable! Tim Brewer is an idiot!
ReplyDeleteSome insider Brew Crew notes - apparently TR missed his flight and Kurt missed his media time because he didnt know what time he was supposed to be in there. Good gawd you'd think he could read the schedule...
ReplyDeleteNot sure what happened with the tire penalty - methinks Addington probably tried to pull a fast one and knew the penalty wouldn't be that severe in order to try out something for a GWC finish perhaps? Dunno...could have been honest mistake too.
BTW- those who haven't seen it - check out TEZ's Olympics blog - very cool!
ReplyDeletehttp://tezgm99.blogspot.com/2010/09/belated-2010-winter-olympics-post.html
I am here....nipped into Maccas for a hashbrown :P
ReplyDeleteHey Tez - yum hashbrowns!
ReplyDeleteOMG! Biffle's CC is a yakker! Shut up already!
ReplyDeletegreen green green
ReplyDeleteAnd they're running!
ReplyDeletehey Dwindy!
ReplyDeleteWhere's Kurt? JJ needs a punt!
ReplyDeleteHey!
ReplyDeleteDang JJ is being aggressive! 4 3-wide passes already!
ReplyDeleteJJ hasn't caught Kurt yet - Kurt up in 10th
ReplyDeletebut Hamlin took care of JJ!
quit whining, Vader!
ReplyDeleteFunny Chad said dont need to be going 3 wide...crack up!
ReplyDeleteGotta go stir the pot elsewhere... I'll be back shortly!
ReplyDeleteI am trying to make something for breakfast...Tez got me hungry with his hashbrown talk!
ReplyDeletelol, post is linked too now, Kristen.
ReplyDeletetez,
ReplyDeleteyou lightweight! Didn't want to try my "Who Said That?"...
Now you've got Kristen and I hungry! LOL
ReplyDeleteSo race recap for Bev - Smoke leading, Speed brings out first caution with a spin...lots gamble with 2 tires - JJ up into top 10 as result and Bowyer leading...
ReplyDeletego McFlurry, smash those crappy Chase drivers!
ReplyDeleteAND JMac pushing Bowyer for the lead! Probably teh most important update for you eh?
ReplyDeleteI suck at stuff like that, Dwindy, lol
ReplyDeleteOUCH! Ambrose takes out Menard and MM scoots by...sorry Tez!
ReplyDeleteI presume the commentators mean that last week was Marcos' best oval finish for 2010 since, of course, he got 3rd at Bristol last year.
ReplyDeleteAmbrose needs to go trophy huntin'! Take out all the drivers you guys took in the trifecta!
ReplyDeleteHi all-
ReplyDeleteAthens- go here
http://www.justin.tv/new2it_newz#/w/400952336/2
They are streaming the race.
Go, Jamie!!!
ReplyDeleteAh, Kristen...You were just waiting for the chance to be an announcer, weren't you? Thanks.lol
Check out the TV feed SB noted Bev - its a pretty racy race so far - worth watching!
ReplyDeleteMan... I like racy!
ReplyDeleteBusy watching Dolphins give the Favres more than they can handle!
ReplyDeleteBALLOONS & WHISTLES...Tez just posted the 900th blog on Lugnuts and Fan-Addicts. (I found that out when I had to re-start my computer after SB's link shut it down!lol trying it again.)
ReplyDeleteHere's another feed in case the other one doesn't work
ReplyDeletehttp://www.justin.tv/motorsports48#/w/400938128/2
Woot! Balloons! and JUNYER is in 9th!!!
ReplyDeleteHold on I am falling off my couch...
I dare anyone to drink a shot every time espn announcers say 'Jimmie Johnson'
ReplyDeleteGeesh! Give us a break.
I'm there, SB! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI'm drunk!
ReplyDeleteMight take the dare, using Nyquil! Good night everybody, just in case! Go, Jamie!!! & Junyer!
ReplyDeleteat 11 in the morning, Kristen? :P
ReplyDeleteA shot of what? Milk? Old crow? Or the 12 year old Scotch?
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed with AJ the last couple weeks. Always liked him, and he's got a hot wife too!
ReplyDeleteI get that response when I take our Yorkie to the park!
ReplyDeleteI'm doing shots of cran-grape juice with my breakfast! LOL
ReplyDeleteI sat with AJ's parents on a plane to PHX once - they were super cool, laid back. I like AJ too!
No, I think I'll move the computer back to the living room so I can go to sleep in the recliner watching the race, like old times!lol
ReplyDeleteDoh! We jinxed AJ!!
ReplyDeleteI saw him win a Champ Car race in Portland. He was so young!
ReplyDeleteWished I would have followed my intuition, and swapped Kyle for Clint after qualifying. Oh well, SB need's a win.
ReplyDeleteIts a long race yet CR...have faith in Kyle -
ReplyDeleteall the Chasers are pretty hyped up on the radio.
Kristen, you sound like a great crew chief! Have ever had a chance to talk to Mr. Penske? ;-)
ReplyDeleteArgh! What happened to my brew crew!
ReplyDeleteLOL - I listen to Steve calm Kurt down enough. Hmmm, maybe next time I see the Captain I'll ask- would only work with Sam or Justin tho - the sweethearts! But both who seem to be outta luck at Penske!
ReplyDeleteMaybe there's room on top of the #2 war wagon for a mental health specialist, for those crisis times during races? lol
ReplyDeleteThat' a new record! Moving my desk top computer to another room! Now for the Nyquil. Lights out shortly.
ReplyDeleteOh they make room for the shrink - we often have "sessions" sitting on tires with the crew. Other crews and officials come by sometime too! LOL
ReplyDeleteDang I thought Kurt was gonna dump JJ there...shouldda even tho it would have screwed my trifecta!
It's not whining when Kevin trashes his car and crew, right? Just Kyle.
ReplyDeleteRichard, trying to settle Kevin down.
ReplyDeleteWhy in the hell doesn't NASCAR give the regular season champ a trophy, money, or even a gift certificate to Red Lobster! For Pete's sake!!!
You whining Gene?
ReplyDeleteJust Kyle and Vadar, Gene.
ReplyDeleteLove the what the hell glove sign from Rooty!
Anyone see the end of yesterday's truck race?
ReplyDeleteDid you see Kyle wave at Buescher after crossing the finish line?
Just sayin'..... they all do it, but the haters overlook all but one. Same morons used to call Gordon a whiner. I think they must have problems pronouncing 'winner'... lol
ReplyDeleteAnyone else have Bowyer on their team this week?
ReplyDeleteI do! Got Kyle, Harvick, Bowyer and Smith...
ReplyDeleteI thought I had Burton but he is on my bench.
Pa-lease nobody whines like the Busch Bros! LOL
ReplyDeleteor Junie
ReplyDeleteSMITH???
ReplyDeleteJJ, Bowyer, JB, and Paulie
ReplyDeleteJunyer is the best whiner cuz he starts sounding like Boomhauer (sp?) on King of the Hill...
ReplyDeleteonly dif is the Busch Bros are also winners!
sigh. my poor beloved Junyer
I've got Kyle, Bowyer, Burton, and AJ
ReplyDeleteI was thinkin' Ambrose!
ReplyDeleteRefs now jobbing the Dolphins.
ReplyDeleteIs it just me or do those third rate crews look really slow?
ReplyDeleteWoot! YEA!! Take out Smoke Clint!!
ReplyDeleteTHANK GOD Kurt missed Hamlin!! whew
ReplyDeleteCousin Carl!
ReplyDeleteNice driving by all... except the Duck!
ReplyDelete"He just cant hold his line can he"..."nope"
ReplyDeleteand he wont apologize either!
At least they keep us updated as to where they would be in the points right now. If the race ended right now. It won't? Never mind.
ReplyDeletehow Brad didn't t-bone Hamlin, I'll never know.
ReplyDeleteWho would've thunk, a duck and a horse would team up for a race car?
ReplyDeleteCarl... biggest A-hole in racing? Vote now.
ReplyDeletePoints as they run right now...stupidest stat they have come up with yet.
ReplyDeleteVote - CARL
But he does one heck of a back flip!
ReplyDeletelol, CR!
ReplyDeleteCRAP!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI cant believe Kurt didnt get hit
ReplyDeleteGo ole Burton... Just wants to be safe...
ReplyDeleteKurt pulls a Carl
ReplyDeleteDang You Burton - that was a pretty tight pinch!
ReplyDeleteNow he is going to have to deal with two pissed off Busch Bros
Mmmmm disagree Gene - Burton didn't give Kurt an inch - Denny gave Carl way more room than Burton did.
ReplyDeleteWho's on first?
ReplyDeletego the syncronised spinning by Shrub and Vader, nice!
ReplyDeleteBoth went in too hard... is what I'm referencing, Kris
ReplyDeleteInteresting smoke and bowyer not coming
ReplyDeleteI believe Tony, Clint and Burton all went "bugger" when they saw everyone else dive for the pits, lol
ReplyDeleteAh, agreed Gene!
ReplyDeletePenske team orders - start taking people out in front of Kurt!
ReplyDeleteKristen just left the 100th comment! (The Nyquil is kickin' in.lol)
ReplyDeleteIs there something on the track? WTF?
ReplyDeletethat's what Briscoe should have done to Dario last night, Kristen!
ReplyDeleteYea, kurt even said it was his bad. Burton didn't give him any wiggle room though.
ReplyDeleteCarl made his own wiggle room... lol
ReplyDeleteGordon's in a good position!
ReplyDeleteKurt's got Bad Brad in front of him - look for him to punch a few more holes in the field! LOL
ReplyDeleteYea Gene its call RACING for the first time in months....
JMac to the lead!
Hmmm Kurt practicing his bull in a china shop persona today
ReplyDeleteOne way or another Kurt's gaining positions!
ReplyDeleteKurt's had a shocking last half hour or so.
ReplyDeleteJoey's dad is blowing a blood vessel! lol
ReplyDeleteYup! Except the damage and need to pit isnt helping us keep those positions!
ReplyDeleteI bet he is a treat on the radio right now...
I've dropped 7 positions in the Fall NASCAR Nuts league!
ReplyDeleteLOL CR! You sound like Harvick...
ReplyDeleteJJ goin' down!
ReplyDeleteGod dang it! JJ pitting...there goes my shot at Trifecta!
ReplyDeleteJJ gonna finish way back now.
ReplyDeleteGotta say impressed with this race so far...best racing we've seen in recent memory.
ReplyDeleteYea, since yesterday's truck race! lol
ReplyDeletefirst time in Loudon's history there's been a decent race isn't it?
ReplyDeleteClint, feeling his Cheerios clicking in?
ReplyDeletewooo! Junyer!
ReplyDeleteCan't believe the hard racing in the 1st chase race. WTH planet am I on?
ReplyDeleteYou are just dreaming all of this Gene...or you are drunk from all your JJ shots. I dunno what race your watching, ours is a snoozer. LOL
ReplyDelete"will it stay green?" These announcers know what they're talking about?
ReplyDeleteis Kurt still on track...then no!
ReplyDelete"will it stay green?"
ReplyDeleteNo, eventually the white and checkered will come out. Probably yellow and red, too.
Dolphins beat the Favras! YES!
ReplyDeleteBrettski had FOUR turnovers!
man how I would love the fat man to run outta gas...
ReplyDeleteI picked the wrong Ganassi car for the trifecta, lol
ReplyDeleteBucs beat the Panthers!
ReplyDeleteIs this great racing going to be trumped by fuel mileage?
ReplyDeleteHere comes Denny!
ReplyDeleteI like the fuel mileage aspect - this one is 100% on the backs of those teams for not pitting during those numerous cautions...
ReplyDeleteCome on AJ! Get'r done!!
ReplyDelete99 v 43 is the best thing happening? Puleeze
ReplyDeleteWhere's the debris?
ReplyDeleteHound him, AJ
ReplyDeleteOut of Gas!!!
ReplyDeletegettem Hamlin!
ReplyDeleteWOOO HOO ! Fat man is outta fuel!! So is Burton
ReplyDeleteDenny trying to get Tony DQed?
ReplyDeleteGood Race!
ReplyDeleteTony is blaming SB for this one :P
ReplyDeleteNice win Bowyer! Impressive with the gambling by Tony...wouldda thought he would have played it safe.
ReplyDeleteGreat chatting everyone! Have a lovely Sunday...
Best. Chase. Race. Ever?
ReplyDeleteWow! Graet win for Clint! ...and Harvick get's a top 10! Good job!
ReplyDeleteI dunno - certainly best start to the Chase. I am partial to Kurt losing his wheel in the final race when he won in 04.
ReplyDeleteYep, Tony lost because of SB. LOL
ReplyDeleteNo he's not. I couldn't win with Tony because moseby picked him first.
ReplyDeleteOh Speedy - you're gonna have some 'splainin' to do...
ReplyDeleteLOL... Thanks all. I had fun! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteis that the first time the number 33 has won in Cup?
ReplyDeleteHarry Gant won plenty in the 33
ReplyDeleteKristen- you're the one who wanted him to run out of gas. I was screaming "Go Tony!"
ReplyDeleteNo tez. They've won here before.
ReplyDeleteTony; "I ran me out of fuel". There, SB, you're off the hook!
ta Gene, Jayski has Nemechek was the last guy to win in it at Rockingham in 2001 as well.
ReplyDeleteI bet Richard Childress is so very happy this race isn't 301 laps like the June one is, lol
ReplyDeleteI must have been yelling louder SB! LOL
ReplyDelete
