Well, here we are at our first night race of the season. I'd like to thank Major League Baseball for not spilling over into the race telecast.

FOLKS, LAST NIGHT WHEN TAYLOR, MY GRANDDAUGHTER, CAME HOME FROM WORK I GOT A REALLY COOL SURPRISE. SHE SAID "POP, I ONLY MADE 55.00 THIS WEEK CASUE I MISSED 2 DAYS WORK BECAUSE OF THE MUSIC THING AT SCHOOL, BUT I BOUGHT THIS."

WHAT SHE BOUGHT ME WAS A COPY OF THE NEW ESPN COLLECTORS ADDITION MAG. THIS IS PRETTY MUCH A START TO FINISH VOLUME OF BIG DALE'S LIFE. I BELIEVE THERE ARE SOME PIC'S IN IT THAT MAYBE NO ONE HAS SEEN BEFORE AND I KNOW THERE ARE STATEMENTS FROM FELLOW DRIVERS THAT GIVES AN INSIGHT INTO A MAN WHO INSPIRED MILLIONS OF PEOPLE TO BE THE BEST TAHT THEY COULD BE.

IT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE IF YOU LOVED HIM OR HATED HIM THIS BOOK IS A GREAT READ AND I SUGGEST THAT YOU TRY TO PICK ONE UP.

The Trifecta- MIdnight at the Oasis Edition

Greetings, race fans! It's time once again to play racing's easiest fantasy game, the Trifecta. Our featured races this week are the NASCAR Nationwide and Sprint Cup races from Phoenix and the IRL Indy Grand Prix of Alabama.

In the hunt for the coveted Triple Lug Nut trophy, CR, jon, and Kristen each have one win.

Speaking of Kristen, she will be at the track for this weekend's NASCAR races. Perhaps she and Kurt can bake Jimmie, Chad, and the #48 team a nice batch of chocolate chip cookies for race day.
