The Trifecta- The Long And Winding Road Edition
Greetings race fans. Yep, it's that time of the week again. We're back on the road with another exciting edition of the Trifecta.
Last week, CR captured his 4th win of the season to vault himself once again to the top of the standings in the chase for the coveted Triple Lug Nut Trophy.
3 of the 4 races this week are on road courses, while the Campling Workd Truck Series heads to Nashville. This begs two questions- why don't the trucks run a road course, and would a road course truck race be exciting to watch?
So, on to the races:
1.) The NASCAR Nationwide Series race from Watkins Glen, Saturday August 7; green flag drops at 2:18pm ET (entry list)
2.) The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race from Nashville, Saturday August 7 ; green flag drops at 9:19pm ET (entry list)
3.) The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race from Watkins Glen, Sunday August 8; green flag drops at 1:18pm ET (entry list)
4.) The IRL race from Mid-Ohio, Sunday August 8; green flag drops at 3:20pm ET (entry list)
Good luck, and let's go racing!!!

Nascar's New Silence Policy
Wanna play like the big boys, Nascar? Fine, but you need to pony up on a few issues first.
My look at why fining two drivers for comments means Nascar needs to step up to the plate on major issues like unionization of the sport, retirement benefits and contract helps.
