  4. Hey Tez, Pocono would be better in the rain, too.

  5. possibly...but we can't have the purty-looking Cup cars getting wet, Helton would complain *rolls eyes*

  6. Twin 100 lappers at Pocono would be the best improvement for Cup cars there.

  17. if it's any consolation, Dwindy jinxed Hamilton in the F1 race too.

  18. Haha Tez, Ham thought he would win it in the 1st turn of the 1st lap.... he would fit in nicely at NASCAR.

  19. F1 engines firing back up now.

  20. or not...I think they're just trying to get the crowds' hopes up, lol

  21. the F1 team (the BBC ones) chatting with George Lucas about making movies. George said that, in general, sports movies don't work as people want to watch the real thing, lol

    ReplyDelete
  22. I agree with George on that. The best 'sports' movies work because of the 'off the field' storyline... not the actual sport. Not all but most.

Plenty of guys will blurt out, "Bull Durham", as a great sports movie... it's really a chick flick.

  23. Are they waiting on the track to completely dry? lol

    ReplyDelete
  24. no, they were waiting for the rain to let off before getting all the sweepers out there, lol

  25. Will they change the halftime reset for the Texas Twin Indycar race next year? Definitely not fair the way it's set up. Either, invert the entire field, or leave as they finished race one.

Biggest surprise of the night was Danica not selecting #1 position on the reset. She must have not been clear on which tire they told her to choose.

  26. they could do what they do in the British Touring Cars...for the final race of the weekend, they reverse just the top 10.

  27. Vettel might be off next....laughing at his rivals tripping over each other, lol

  28. This is going to be an interesting Trifecta. F1.com showing Alonso and Hamilton out of it.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Dang it! if only Webber hadn't taken out Alonso! lol
    Congrats to Jeff!

  30. WOW! Way to jinx Vettel tez! lol

  31. Great end to the F-1! Pocono, notsomuch.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I hardly think finishing 2nd means the jinx works, lol
