  1. He knew his days were numbered when he didn't make the Chase. I called this one months ago ((patting my own back)).

  3. Saw this on yahoo too...pretty sure this was his hope after not getting back in the car last week. Dont really see the purpose of keeping him on - BUD is moving on too so not much loss for only 5 races.

  4. so will Labonte now switch to the 47 leaving Ambrose free to drive the 9 from next week?

  5. Maybe we'll see Harvick in a Bud commercial sooner than expected? Now Kasey can sub for Almirola, who was subbing for Sorensen, but now is subbing for Kahne instead. LOL

  6. the rumour currently going around is that all 4 cars from the Petty stable might not see the end of the season....bad news for Ambrose if that turns out to be right.

  7. Our favorite FOXSports.com reporter- NOT!- is reporting that Roush/Yates reposessed Talladega cars and engines this morning and that RPM employees have been told they may not have a job next week.

Apparently- according to the article- John Henry(RFR partner) and George Gilette(Owner of RPM) are feuding over the price of a soccer team and RPM finds itself caught in the middle.

  8. me thinks Mr Ambrose might try having a word with Mr Wood about the 21 car now....unless AJ's beaten him to that.

  9. I see this scenario for the following drivers at RPM:

Kahne--in the 83 for the remainder of the year and most likely in the 82 next year with Vickers returning to the 83.

    Menard--will join RCR next season.

Sadler--I can see him driving for Kevin Harvick full-time in a second KHI truck and occasionally in the Nationwide Series.

Allmendinger--I can see him driving Nationwide for JGR next season and should JGR expand to a fourth team, he'd be on that fourth team. He could also return to the IRL if he gets a good opportunity with a top-tier team.
