Despite a valiant effort by Kristen and moseby last week (both were one win away from a perfect score) Tez managed to hold on for the win and take the lead in the chase for the Coveted Triple Lug Nut Trophy. No need to panic, though. With six races still left on the schedule, everyone is still in the hunt (of course, it would take JJ-like domination for some of us to pull it off).
This week's races:
1.) The NASCAR Nationwide Series race from Kansas, Saturday October 2; green flag drops at 3:46pm ET (entry list)
2.) The IRL season finale from Homestead/Miami, Saturday October 2; green flag drops at 7:00pm ET (entry list)
3.) The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race from Kansas, Sunday October 3; green flag drops at 1:16pm ET (entry list)

Kristen- sing along with me "It's a small world aftter all" (or would you prefer Mahna Mahna?)
ReplyDeleteDwindy- anyone with less than 3 wins pretty much has their work cut out for them (BTW, my ancestry.com membership expires the end of the month. If there are any names you want me to run through while I still have full access, just send me names and dates)
jon- Katie has 3 words "FEAR THE VOODOO!"
And with that, the Beagle picks:
NW- Bad Brad continues his stranglehold on the points
IRL- Dario hogs the spotlight and wins both the race and the Championship
Cup- Jeffie G finally wins one
I like your prediction on Dario Speedy! ...and I was seriously considering swaping Kurt for Jeffie after qualifying. But, I don't want to jinx Jeff. I don't want to jinx Kurt either! I just thought it was time for Kurt to conquer one of his poorer tracks. Good luck to all!
