Oh gawd here we go with the here's where they stand if the race were to end now...
I would guess but I'd be trying to line up replacement - like In-n-Out! If I were Tony. I was disappointed in Penske not getting sponsors lined up sooner knowing Verizon was so unhappy with the Sprint conflict and bringing on Penzoil killing their longstanding Mobil1 deal.
Speaking of pit crews - we are still trying to come up with cool nickname for the new Brew Crew...they are so bummed to be losing ML as sponsor - let me know if you guys have any "brilliant" ideas! LOL
Word of advice; if you're on the outside and half a car ahead, that doesn't automatically give you the right to use the racing line in the corner....if Webber got a penalty from that, the stewards are worse than the NASCAR ones.
tez, I think in Mamilton's mind, he had the position. Red Bull was having break problems, and he was advised of it. So maybe he forgot that Webber might be a little free in the corner?
CR: he had half a car on him and F1 cars, while rather advanced, do not have vertical take-off yet so what exactly was Webber expected to do? Lewis presumed he could take the line because everyone else used to jump out of his way whenever he divebombed them so I have no problem with drivers not giving him a break anymore, lol
Really. It seems a little overly dramatic. The horse won the trip crown by miles, and it looks like this movie is trying to manufacture some drama that wasn't there. Not my cup o tea.
I saw Danica do much the same thing at St Pete. Another car's front spoiler was even with her seat. She thought she could just turn right entering the turn. She did. Ran over the guy. Then proceeded to stamp her feet and blame him.
green green green!
ReplyDeleteCouldn't stand it could ya... LOL
ReplyDeleteTHE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK!!!
ReplyDeleteHello! Go AJ!
ReplyDeleteLots of empty sections. Weather can't be the only reason. How many walk-ups could they possibly have on a nice day? 5,000?
ReplyDeleteHey guys!
ReplyDeleteHmmm so far this is what we expected at Louden. Perhaps they tricked us into watching.
ReplyDeleteMan, lots of empty seats...
hmmm not racing hard enough so lets bunch them back up...
ReplyDeleteCaution... can't let a non-Chaser get too far out front!
ReplyDeletedunno Kristen, seems like they should be racing hard to get to halfway. Before it rains.
ReplyDeletemaybe I could sell the race tracks a pre-event check list?
ReplyDeleteA few weeks back King Richard and AJ had a set to... Ever since AJ has been running better...
ReplyDeleteIf that's how it works then I can think of several drivers that Petty should give a talkin' to!
You would think they would be racing the weather....
ReplyDeleteOOohhh Kurt in punting position on JJ - payback is still on his mind. He talks about it on the radio a fair amount.
AJ is probably getting Kasey's cars now...I am sure they are limiting info and not trying new things on Kasey's cars anymore, Sadlers either.
ReplyDeleteI'm here...but watching the F1 race on Speed since I didn't want to get up at 5am this morning, lol
ReplyDeleteNewman and Reuty... Twins!
ReplyDeleteRueti Tooti! Where's CR?
ReplyDeleteHey Tez - Rooty Tooty given a ride into the wall thanks to Newman.
ReplyDeleteIs it me or is Newman driving with much less finesse lately? (no offense CR!)
So,Extenze is giving R Gordon $100,000 a week to let Conway S&P?
ReplyDeletePretty much Gene...where they getting all that coin?
ReplyDeleteWill anyone be surpriced when Tony takes Ryan's sponsorship, and runs just the #14 next year?
ReplyDeletehaha, Kris. I have no idea. You're the doc.
ReplyDeleteI won't go into the Extenze deal...
ReplyDeleteGene I thought about that... Survival of the fittest, Indiana style!
RCR vs JGR!!!
ReplyDeleteI wonder what happens to his BK sponsorship now that they sold the company to private investors.
ReplyDeleteWoot! Go Busch Bros!
ReplyDeleteDenny shook up RCR this week didn't he? The "Truthteller" LOL
ReplyDeleteI would guess that Tony has valid contracts with BK that the new guys will have to honor?
ReplyDeleteI was in a BK a coupla weeks ago for the first time in awhile.... could not believe all the signage in there for Smoke.
ReplyDeleteIt's flame broiled not smoked!
ReplyDeleteOh gawd here we go with the here's where they stand if the race were to end now...
ReplyDeleteI would guess but I'd be trying to line up replacement - like In-n-Out! If I were Tony.
I was disappointed in Penske not getting sponsors lined up sooner knowing Verizon was so unhappy with the Sprint conflict and bringing on Penzoil killing their longstanding Mobil1 deal.
Oh yes, the sage of the garage...
Yeah, its real UN-appetizing isn't it! LOL
ReplyDeleteNow I'm hungry. lol Off to lunch. Let me know if I miss anything. LOL
ReplyDeleteThat pit crew vote is bogus...
ReplyDeleteYa think Dwindy? LOL
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of pit crews - we are still trying to come up with cool nickname for the new Brew Crew...they are so bummed to be losing ML as sponsor - let me know if you guys have any "brilliant" ideas! LOL
Best one so far "Defending Champs" !
ReplyDeleteWoot! someone got caught speedin!
ReplyDeleteOkay Kristen,
ReplyDeleteHow's this 2 Crew Penn Men!
BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA at Lewis in the F1 race!
ReplyDeleteWord of advice; if you're on the outside and half a car ahead, that doesn't automatically give you the right to use the racing line in the corner....if Webber got a penalty from that, the stewards are worse than the NASCAR ones.
Penn Men could work...so far the KBNation likes Shellraisers - I just dont see it working.
ReplyDeleteYou are talking F1 gibberish again Tez! LOL
Dang 17 blew a tire - gonna mess up the order now
will Truex get pinged for that?
ReplyDeleteDANG IT!!! Kurt screwed up...
ReplyDeleteGotta get the pets outside before it gets too hot, back in a bit
guess it didn't matter for Truex after that anyway.
ReplyDeleteTruex?
ReplyDeleteMartin has been mentioned oft...oh, you mean his former teammate, my bad.
ReplyDeletegreat minds, Dwindy!
ReplyDeleteEngineers and farmers go together!
ReplyDeleteOk back...but behind...catching up!
ReplyDeleteapparently I havent missed much...
nope, there hasn't been a whole lot of action since you popped out, Kristen.
ReplyDeleteI did like tez, and watched the replay of the F1 race. Seen plenty of the Cup race as well. Why is it, when JJ is leading a race, it's always boring?
ReplyDeleteLOL CR! So who won F1?
ReplyDeleteAlonso, won, led the most laps, as well as the pole.
ReplyDeleteToo bad about AJ pitting before the yellow...
Love that debris!
ReplyDeleteBOO YAH!!!
ReplyDeleteIt the 18 crew isn't the best in Cup racing they're in the top 3!
ReplyDeleteK- So it's hot down your way? Mid 80's up here. Beautiful day. Too bad I'm sitting here watching tv. Only 108 laps to go, then I'm OUTSIDE!
ReplyDeleteI like Alonso - he is cute!
ReplyDeleteIts supposed to be low 90s today, right now mid 80s. Tomorrow we hit 100 - blech!
I am outside asap too!
Good to see Kurt overcome the mistake and get back in the hunt...he is maturing!
ReplyDeleteI see rain clouds!
ReplyDelete...so is his little bro.
ReplyDeleteI dont get this ESPN commerical...how many chicks does this guy marry??
ReplyDeleteis it because of the eyebrows, Kristen? :P
ReplyDeletetez, I think in Mamilton's mind, he had the position. Red Bull was having break problems, and he was advised of it. So maybe he forgot that Webber might be a little free in the corner?
ReplyDeleteI hadn't noticed the eyebrows...I am sure the commercial will play about 10 more times so I'll look...LOL
ReplyDeleteThat Dinger driving well - in Kasey's cars....
LOL! I just made Hamilton a mammal!
ReplyDeleteThat Secretariat commercial does not make me want to see the movie.
ReplyDeleteCome on Kyle! 2nd place is the 1st LOSER!
ReplyDeleteHow about 3rd?
ReplyDeleteReally Gene? I guess us horsey girls will see it no matter what. LOL
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if that was a slam on Hamilton or just a typo CR!
I menat about Alonso, K!
ReplyDeleteCR: he had half a car on him and F1 cars, while rather advanced, do not have vertical take-off yet so what exactly was Webber expected to do? Lewis presumed he could take the line because everyone else used to jump out of his way whenever he divebombed them so I have no problem with drivers not giving him a break anymore, lol
Really. It seems a little overly dramatic. The horse won the trip crown by miles, and it looks like this movie is trying to manufacture some drama that wasn't there. Not my cup o tea.
ReplyDeleteOOOOoohhh Tez - yea its his eyebrows! AND the rest of him!! LOL
ReplyDeleteTrue enough - that horse was amazing so no drama about him winning but who doesnt like ponies, kittens and baby seals?
I saw Danica do much the same thing at St Pete. Another car's front spoiler was even with her seat.
ReplyDeleteShe thought she could just turn right entering the turn. She did. Ran over the guy. Then proceeded to stamp her feet and blame him.
ooooo, overtime game in the NFL.
ReplyDeleteNASCAR.. Everything else is just a game!
ReplyDeleteReally? didn't someone else already use that campaign?
I hate Chad!
ReplyDeleteGood points day at Yahooo....

You guys are funny. ...or I got into the scotch a little early.
ReplyDeleteI hear the Imperial March starting up...
ReplyDeleteBad day for me @ Yahoo... Biffle, Newman, Kenseth, and AJ.
ReplyDeleteYes Dwindy, I hear it now.
ReplyDeleteBye all, have a great rest of the weekend!
ReplyDeleteI had that as my ringtone on my old phone!
ReplyDeleteRefer to my second comment on here...
ReplyDeleteBye!
Denny taking a Twix break before interview....LMAO
ReplyDeletenot as good a race as Loudon....never thought I'd be writing that to be honest, lol
ReplyDeleteOy! my computer crashed with 5 to go...LAME they went to commercial before the race ended.
ReplyDeleteNot nearly as good as Loudon - but not bad - at least Kurt got top 4 - he needs to survive Kansas and he should be a threat!
Kudos to Vadar - he has some fight in him.
Outta here! Have a great rest of your Sunday!
