Dover Chat

Since it's not up yet, lol

Some burning issues to throw around:
- will we get another surprise winner?
- will the rain stay away to get the full race in?
- will Kyle manage to get all the way through the field after starting at the back?

  2. No surprise winner

  3. hey Kristen, they're up to lap 23 :)

  4. Ok I am speeding thru on x30 speed but listening to Kyle and Kev on prerace for the moment

  5. Ugh, looks like Kurt has another bad car today...too bad his radio isnt working on the KBnation site as I am sure its gonna be a fun day to listen

what is up with Gordon being the fan favorite all the time! Cant be...

    ReplyDelete
  6. Pre-race Kyle was funny, putting himself above the fray. "Concentrating on winning, not off track issues." Trying to make Kev seem immature, did a decent job of it, too.

    ReplyDelete
  7. they banned Dale Jr from all votes, K :P

    ReplyDelete
  8. I gave Kurt kiss of death? Why did they change the car after they were fastest in last practice? WTG!

    ReplyDelete
  9. They were both entertaining. Kev's just got a great smirk and Kyle taking a different tactic is amusing as well...

    Oh that 'splains it Tez...

    ReplyDelete
  10. and why are our NHL games all at 5pm? Why have they catered for the East coast, grrrr

    ReplyDelete
  11. Hello everybody, hello... (Song and dance man!)

    Go Kyle!

    ReplyDelete
  12. Pizza Hut Fan Favorite

Pepsico owns Pizza Hut through Yum... Gordon only driver sponsored by Pepsi. Hmmmm.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I think the track changed Gene, not Kurt's car - rained yesterday didnt it?

    ReplyDelete
  14. tez... It's like Bob Seger sings, You want people? The east coast has the most...

    ReplyDelete
  15. Hey Dwindy!

Ah, yes that must be it you can only vote for Yum sponsored drivers. Not that Gordon isnt a fan fav.

No idea Tez - East Coast rules everything its annoying indeed!

    ReplyDelete
  16. Anyone hear anything about the crew member who got nailed by #33 spring yesterday? I havent checked the news yet.

    ReplyDelete
  17. WOW! D Ragan has picked up FOUR spots since the start! Stop the presses.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Heard they kept him overnight. Don't know if any bones were broken.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Geeeeezzzzz!!!!!

    An Australian commercial.............................................

    ReplyDelete
  20. Someone at the track said Kurt was screaming about all the changes, and they were changing everything during yellow.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I can understand the earlier times when we were playing Chicago and when San Jose were at Detroit, but really? Do the east coast even care about this series, Dwindy?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Still no mention of Kyle by Fox. He must not have gained FOUR spots yet.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Hey tez... I'm a Lightning fan... Go Bolts!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Gotta reboot my computer - stupid sound is messed up...

Not surprised one bit that Kurt is already screaming...

Are we betting a Starbucks coffee on the games Tez? To be paid off at Sonoma?? LOL

  25. man, my trifecta picks have sucked this weekend :(

    ReplyDelete
  26. How aboot yesterday's finish? Wild one. I doubt any driver could have passed Carl on the outside, at Dover, after rain delay, with 2 laps to go. Not surprised when Joey lost it.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I didn't see it, Gene...some friends were having a BBQ so I went to it instead, lol

    ReplyDelete
  28. That "aboot" was for you hockey fans. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  29. Lucky, Tez. Rainy weekend here on the Best Coast. lol

    ReplyDelete
  30. it's raining here today....I'll blame you for it then ;)

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  32. What's up with Marcos? Now I could go for seeing him win this race!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Those cars really break loose coming off turn 4.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Glad I have JJ in the fantasy league. Along with 5, 55, and 6.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Ok back with sound! woot! stupid windows...

ok Tez we are on! Go Sharkies!

I missed race ending yesterday but caught it on youtube - amazing wreck - and Carl didnt touch Joey to start it which was even more amazing!

    ReplyDelete
  36. I should have gone with my bench drivers....Vader, Marcos, Burton and Smith. Instead, I'm stuck with Biffle, Newman, Clint and Bobby.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Guessing D Ragan won't be the next first time winner, today.

    ReplyDelete
  38. okey dokey, Kristen...oooo, big hit for Ragan there :o

    ReplyDelete
  39. LOL - Gotta love lil David...

I just checked I have JJ (thought I had Carl - only trifecta I guess), Clint, Kasey and Bobby...not exactly a stellar team at the moment.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Kris... Kez still blaming Carl for spinning Joey! Said it was dirty driving and Carl knew it. Claimed Carl used an 'air pocket' to wreck Joey.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I didn't know Carl could use the force, lol

    ReplyDelete
  42. I'm back... Fantasy team:
JJ, AJ, KK & CM (Mears)...

    ReplyDelete
  43. Carl's gone over to the dark side...

    ReplyDelete
  44. No one ever said Kes was bright...he was also throwing down on twitter about Kyle using the wreck to plow thru him yesterday.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  51. Smokin' in the boys room... LOL

    ReplyDelete
  52. Carl says all the rubber in 3 and 4 will cause a big wreck. First time I've heard that one. Unless he means the 'marbles'?

    ReplyDelete
  53. Probably...Marcos looking awesome today!

    ReplyDelete
  54. Pizza stop? LOL. Did BK leave him?

    ReplyDelete
  55. Yeah, Kris, I asked Kez on twitter last night if he expected Kyle to slam on brakes with 30 cars behind him on a blocked straightaway. He did not reply.

    ReplyDelete
  56. not according to the jayski paint schemes...he'll have BK on for a few races.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Ugh. I have 99 on the bench with 48 starting.

    ReplyDelete

  59. go granddaddy is up to 8th, nice!

    ReplyDelete
  60. No BK still with Tony but he has a pizza machine in his hauler...

    ReplyDelete
  61. I picked the one Roush car that is sucking, lol

    ReplyDelete
  62. Kez did respond to me about his take on 29 v 18 last week. He's not afraid to chime in about anyone. He really doesn't like Carl, though. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  63. at least Ragan was up there before he got cozy with the pit wall, but Biff's been nowhere :(

    ReplyDelete
  64. Gene what is your twitter acct? Am I following you??

    Kes does like to yap!

Kurt in lucky dog position - he's not too bad on the radio today

    ReplyDelete
  65. Dover stops beer sales with 50 to go. Yesterday they red flagged the race with 56 to go. Hmmm.

    ReplyDelete
  66. hmmm. got 3 of 4 in the top 10 for the moment but doubt it will last

    ReplyDelete
  67. CAUTION! (Carl was getting too far ahead...)

    ReplyDelete
  68. Kurt gets the LD, he needed that.

    ReplyDelete
  69. great stop by the 9 bunch, nearly beat Carl out.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  74. Told ya Twitter was pretty useful info Gene - now you have the script! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  75. I don't want twitter...then I'd be a youtwitface user :P

    ReplyDelete
  76. Your boy Marcos is on there! (rarely...)

    ReplyDelete
  77. Harvick praised his crew all week for having his back. Now, "I'll do it myself!" What a peach.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Drivers are fickle primadonnas, every single one of them! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  79. that's why we love them, lol

    ReplyDelete
  81. hmm, is this outside their fuel window I wonder....

    ReplyDelete
  82. wild if clint can win after being airbourne yesterday...

    ReplyDelete
  83. Church pot luck rule #1: high school boys go to the end of the line so that everyone has a chance to eat.

    ReplyDelete
  84. JGR says they can make it on fuel. They haven't been fast enough to burn any all day! Hah

    ReplyDelete
  85. Hey speedy!

  92. and a little more Kyle butt kissing by DW...come on Marcos!

    ReplyDelete
  93. Kyle, Kyle, Kyle! (Jan Brady voice)

    ReplyDelete
  94. Hanny- Lutheran church potlucks usually have enough food to put an end to world hunger; this one would have too, but the high school boys went through the line first. I KNOW their parents feed them.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Hmm tires holding better than thought

    ReplyDelete
  96. Yeah, Kris for those that got out front. Jr restarted 3rd and dropped off the map.

Earlier in the race, comp yellow on lap 40 I think, a lot only took 2 and said it was okay. Surprising that four tires didn't pay off two weeks in a row.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Wow! I was hibernating...

    Go Kyle!

    ReplyDelete
  98. Nice guys finish first! Congrats to Matty!
