The Trifecta- We Interrupt This Blog Edition

Greetings, race fans. This week's Trifecta comes early to accommodate the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race on Wednesday night.

This week provides another opportunity for Hanny to capture the elusive Kylefecta.

(Sorry about that, race fans. Unfortunately as the Trifecta was heading to post, Katie- our intrepid news hound- uncovered some disturbing news from the Duncan yo-yo factory.)

Now on to the races:

1.) The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race from Bristol, Wednesday August 18; green flag drops at 8:16pm ET (entry list)

2.) The NASCAR Nationwide Series race from Bristol; Friday August 20; green flag drops at 8:13pm ET (entry list)

3.) The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race from Bristol, Saturday August 21; green flag drops at 7:43pm ET (entry list)

4.) The IRL race from Sonoma, Sunday August 22; green flag drops at 5:50pm ET

I will get the entry list up for the IRL race as soon as it becomes available.

Good luck and let's go racing,

    Trucks--Austin Dillon

NNS--Elliott Sadler (seems every time he drives for Kevin, he either wins or does very well)

Cup--Who else? Happy all the way!!

  10. Athens-

Hanny got his picks for the Kylefecta in first, so the tie-breaker would go to him.

  13. 8th...so with the penalty, I'd have to pick top 3 the rest of the way....*sigh* I won't bother.

  14. With everyone having one race complete:

    hanny 1
    cr 1
    moseby 1
    sb 1
    dwindy 2
    klv 4
    tez 8
    jon 17
    athens 17

  15. I was afraid of Kahne... I'll take the penalty and replace the NW race with Will Power in the Indycars Sonoma run if that's permissable SB... If not then oh well...

    Thanks!

  16. Dwindy, change noted. I figured you'd probably make the switch when I saw Kasey do his "wall walking" act.

Of course, it will be a moot point if Hanny pulls off the Kylefecta tomorrow night.

  17. I'll take the gamble....Cup - Kyle Busch.

  18. With everyone having completed two races:

    hanny 2
    cr 6
    moseby 10
    klv 13
    sb 15
    jon 20
    tez 22
    athens 27
    dwindy 41

The results of the IRL race are moot since Hanny has captured the elusive "Kylefecta", giving Hanny his second straight win and our second perfect score of the season.
