  1. Is everybody sleeping already?

Kyle and Wally certainly don't call it like it is.

  2. I am around but not glued to TV - also a few min behind live...

How are ya Gene? Fix your laptop yet?

    ReplyDelete
  3. Hey Gene, I'm here. Robby Gordon went gas only on that pit stop. He's a caution waiting to happen.

  4. Ooh, Ambrose again...means he is due at Sonoma!

    ReplyDelete
  5. Is it me, or is this race have the makings of a snoozefest?

    ReplyDelete
  6. Kristen, I'm sure you're happy that Kurt's checked out!

  7. Hey folks.

Wally and Kyle P join the long list of race announcers who tell us different than what we just saw. Looked like bad driving when Smith pulled into Marcos, to me.

Waiting on new screen for laptop. Maybe this week.

    ReplyDelete
  8. IMO Smith didn't give Marcos enough room.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Good or bad news? If Fox were televising how many times would we have seen and heard that Kyle B went from back to 9th in 17 laps? lol

    ReplyDelete
  10. Looked like Smith was low then went up high a lot faster than Marcos. That was a BIG dent in 47's rear end.

  11. Yea, I dont trust any announcers anymore - I try to watch with the sound off most of the time and just listen to Kurts radio.

I am happy to see Kurt checked out! He is running pretty awesome these days. I hope it holds to next week!

  12. Thanks Larry... but isn't it dangerous for those guys to be trying to push or lift the front ends at 170 mph?

  13. I'm here. I was glued to the F1 race. I'm kind of red-eyed today... was up till 3 am, watching leMans. Recorded the end, so have no idea what happened. But, it was crazy with 3 hrs to go... Guys were entering corners with way too much speed, and the track was so dirty, it looked like an L.A. freeway!

I think Wally needs to talk less...Larry too.

  25. ...maybe, if I steal away in the night, I could show-up in Sonoma, buy a ticket to the show, and smell some blogging friens?

    ReplyDelete
  26. I've lost my d's! I should take a nap. Michigan Cup race could do the trick!

    ReplyDelete
  27. CR, you could probably buy a ticket the morning of the race.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Kasey leading--that should make YeeMum happy!

    ReplyDelete
  29. It's a road course. They should have SRO tickets available?

    ReplyDelete
  30. ...that's what I like about Laguna Seca. General admission tickets get you the best seats in the house... EVERY WHERE!

    ReplyDelete
  31. I'd call the track first to see if they have SRO tix available.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Casey, WTH were you doing taking out your teammate like that?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Then to top it all off, he collides with David Ragan on pit road!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Yipee! Yes come for the day Cord - there are single day tickets on the website available and I am sure you can do walk up tickets.

Poor Casey - although I would love to take out Scott Speed too...

    ReplyDelete
  35. Freaking battle for the lead between team Penske and we are watching Larry!?!? COME ON TNT!

    ReplyDelete
  36. OK, I've just been sent on a wifey errand. Back latter...

    ReplyDelete
  37. K....have you had the Freon checked in the A/C? Ask a friend or friend's trusty mechanic. Pep Boys or Auto Zone will charge an arm & a leg if that's what it's needs.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Yea, Bev Thanks - hubby checked it - I apparently have a leak somewhere in the system. We luckily have a good mechanic thats fair!

Just wont have time to go before we head to Sonoma...so Tez and I will be cruising with the windows down!

    ReplyDelete
  39. dang it, Germany scored again :(

    ReplyDelete
  40. So Kristen, what's wrong with coming to Texas for a football game? (I wouldn't go to Austin, though.)

    ReplyDelete
  41. My thought on today's 'Start Your Engines' "command".....SILLY.... and not in a funny way. Pathetic actually.

Kevin James went from one of the best commands, to the absolute worst. Thanks, Waterboy!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Yawn agreed but at least Kurt is in it...

SB - nothing wrong with Texas other than it is not in my backyard and I cant pop over one afternoon to catch a game...Kelly going to Austin all the time for work these days. Will probably join him one of these times - maybe you can make the trek just once!?

    ReplyDelete
  43. Or you could come to Lubbock? It's closer :o).

    Hubby work for Dell????

    ReplyDelete
  44. Yea but we would fly into Austin direct..

Hubby works for Apple - just bought some company in Austin that makes chip that runs the new Iphone...

    ReplyDelete
  45. How do you fly direct into Austin????? We can't even do that on Southwest.

    ReplyDelete
  46. If Kyle could quit stuttering! Send him some drugs, Kristen!lol

    ReplyDelete
  47. The high groove seems to be working for Happy.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I dunno SB! LOL Hubby says direct flight to Austin from San Jose - maybe Alaska?

No way am I helping Kyle Bev...! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  49. After watching the 16th commercial for 'The Closer', I can definitely say that I will NEVER watch that load of garbage!

    ReplyDelete
  50. Ok, I'm back. Although, I may drift off to sleep.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Why are you watching commercials Gene? Dont you have DVR? My dad says I live in the past cuz I am rarely watching live tv but nascar is so much more tolerable when you can skip thru!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Welcome back CR! So you serious about the one day trek down?

    ReplyDelete
  53. Pretty sure Kurt is staying out on this one...lots of chatter on Kurts radio today and Roger has been rooting him on alot.

    ReplyDelete
  54. I'm trying to watch S.C. vs Coastal Carolina in college baseball super regionals, Nationals (Strasburg) vs Indians, and the race.... and somehow I keep seeing the dumb Closer commercials....on the bright side I just saw my 1st 'Grownups' commercial.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Bummer for Kyle...maybe now I'll give him meds!

    ReplyDelete
  56. We're not talking about the same Kyle, are we? I was talking about Kyle, the announcer, stuttering.lol

    ReplyDelete
  57. LOL Bev OOOOOooooohhhhh I thought maybe you were listening in on Kyle's radio.

Kurt happy with solid 3rd place...congrats to Hamlin!
