  2. 13 minutes into the broadcast and we've already had 3 mentions of Danica. What's the over/under for that today???

    ReplyDelete
  3. I'm listening to some music until closer to race time, LOL

    ReplyDelete
  4. hey guys, its been awhile. almost time for racing again.

    ReplyDelete
  5. any predictions for the first caution; early, late?

    ReplyDelete
  6. if we go with that train of thought, it has to be before the first lap is done, LOL

    ReplyDelete
  7. i agree with the beagle. a couple early cautions, then they will settle down, and look for a rash of yellows in the late stages of the race.

    ReplyDelete
  8. How about who will bring out the 1st caution- one of the usual suspects(Mikey, Brad Keselowski, etc.) or someone out of the blue????

    ReplyDelete
  9. Oh yeah- in case anyone missed it on the Trifecta blog. Katie has chewed the nose off the JJ voodoo bear.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Hey, Y'all....According to my dashboard, we are one away from 500 posts on Lug Nuts!!! Who will it be?lol

    ReplyDelete
  11. beware the wounded, nose missing, HMS guy :P

    ReplyDelete
  12. dang. i forgot about the trifectas. i will have to look for it next week.

i look for a menard, or someone in the back to create the early caution.

    ReplyDelete
  13. stork-

unfortunately because of the way the various series have scheduled their races, we won't be able to field another Trifecta until the weekend of March 27.

    ReplyDelete
  14. thanks speed

i will look for it then.

    ReplyDelete
  15. dang, unmuted too early....Dario won the title the year before he came over, DW, so I fail to see how winning it last year after he went back means NASCAR helped him *rolls eyes*

    ReplyDelete
  16. atleast digger hasn't showed up yet.

    ReplyDelete
  17. oh yes he has. they were touting his appearance in the Chipmunks movie.

BTW- if someone will get Katie a stuffed Digger toy, she'll add it to the voodoo collection.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Is it just me, or did E-Sads sunglasses look like those cheap 3D glasses you get at the movies????

    ReplyDelete
  19. do you think any of us would spend money on critter cam merchandise?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Checking in. What about the start and parkers. Did you note there were like none in the race yesterday?

BTW dialated to 2 Grandbaby is on his way

    ReplyDelete
  21. Great to see everyone!

I dont know that we can count high enough on the over/under on Danica...

I might be willing to part with some cash - Miller Lite's cash on a Digger to be chewed to bits next week!

First of many early wrecks started by...Danica?

    Almost green flag!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Hey, I spent money on JJ merchandise, so Katie could have an authentic JJ voodoo object.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Congrats Yee!! You will now be officially referred to as "Go Grandmammyee"

    ReplyDelete
  24. Ans if you believe that Kyle is going to play it cool, I've got some swamp land in Arizona I'd like to sell you. Contact the Real Estate firm of Dewey, Cheatham, and Howe.

    ReplyDelete
  25. SB; I thought the same thing about Kyle, LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Seems as if the boys are playing nice so far...

    ReplyDelete
  27. Him and JR need to just stay there in front out of the carp

    ReplyDelete
  28. Kristen, have you heard where Pat went? I have been out of the loop

    ReplyDelete
  29. Yep, he is CC for Martin Truex...Luke the shock guy I did all those videos with also went to Truex and Napa.

Weird to see Kasey running the white car - knight in shining armor??

    ReplyDelete
  30. FREAKIN A! There goes Team Penske....and Max! =(

    ReplyDelete
  31. i bet roger's wondering bout bucky now!

    ReplyDelete
  32. nice job by Jeff G to get through there.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Well BK started the first one, I believe someone had him picked...but looks like he slid in his own oil to me.

    ReplyDelete
  34. So far Kurt is happy what can go wrong? :)

    ReplyDelete
  35. atleast the blue deuce is still around.

    ReplyDelete
  36. True enuf but now he has no drafting partners and is the only Dodge out there! God knows no one will push Kurt....

    ReplyDelete
  37. Unless they push him off the track (sorry)
Mark got hung out to dry there

    ReplyDelete
  38. Looks like he is gaining again though

    ReplyDelete
  39. Like the old spice commercial too

    ReplyDelete
  40. Cute Bud commercial!

LOL - thats about the only place they would push Kurt Yee...

    Woot up to 3rd & 4th!

    ReplyDelete
  41. Good morning everyone! Happy's in the lead, but it might not last long.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Yea! I got AJ on the fantasy team. Thank god I almost picked Sam for today.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Yikes wheels on fire! That boy is HOT!

    ReplyDelete
  44. OR maybe these guys actually know how to drive and bide their time DW...

    ReplyDelete
  45. Kurt's looking real strong right now.

    ReplyDelete
  46. so Dodge, Ford, Chevy and Toyota run 1-4....can anyone say 'parity'? :P

    ReplyDelete
  47. Love the Toyota commercial where the little girl is designing Kyle Busch's car! Kyle's reaction is priceless!

    ReplyDelete
  48. Caution out for Field Filler Joe!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Bummer - Sam has been in bad spots a lot today.

Kurt looking good and is happy with his car - listening to his in car radio...could be dangerous!

Those Toyota commercials are a total crackup!!

    ReplyDelete
  50. Could this be the day Kurt finally wins the 500? He's been dominant so far.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Isd it just me or should JR shave his face?

And what was up with that little spot with Kurt?

    ReplyDelete
  52. Didn't take long for Happy to get back to the front!

    ReplyDelete
  53. Not to mention, Pat has the Lug Nut.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Kurt is always gripping! There is Pat on TV!

Jr is keeping small animals and birds in his beard I think...

    ReplyDelete
  55. Look at the gains off the pits. Low cautions (so far) snicker

    ReplyDelete
  56. They are behaving well compared to NW & Trucks anyway....

    ReplyDelete
  57. OOps for AJ
    What happened to Marcos

    ReplyDelete
  58. Hello, race fans.

Kyle and I are still looking for a top-10 this weekend. WTH?

    ReplyDelete
  59. I broke the curse maybe......... Karvick won a race while I was wearing his shirt. Guess I'll dig out Kasey's shirt ?:)

    ReplyDelete
  60. Yee...it's not just you. Red beards look terrible...unless it's ZZ Top style.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I'm a little nervous because some of the guys up front now don't know how to handle it. (READ: Paul Menard)

    ReplyDelete
  62. He needs lots more or lots less it's driving me nuts!

    ReplyDelete
  63. Harvick and Smoke are hooked up nose to tail. Not as nervous now.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Looks like Kurt picked the wrong line?

    ReplyDelete
  65. nascar.com says Ambrose is in the garage :(

    ReplyDelete
  66. Lookee here! Harvick and Edwards hooking up nose to tail!!

    ReplyDelete
  67. Never said what happened to Marcos??

Hey Gene -- Kyle is just biding time!

Kurt struggling with the no tire call...
he could be mad any minute now! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  68. I can't do the symbol here but I prefer YeeMum(squared)

    ReplyDelete
  69. Jeff flexing those HMS muscles, lol

    ReplyDelete
  70. Hello, Folks! Just woke up, watched too many 500s on ESPN Classic all night. Fox leaderboard says BOWYER just past Gordon!

    ReplyDelete
  71. Good to see Big Daddy stout.

    Hey Athens! Good Morning! =)

    ReplyDelete
  72. Bowyer's leading and Happy's right behind him!

    ReplyDelete
  73. Did Chris Myers just say all Joe Gibbs cars lead today including "Tony Stewart"???
    Sheesh...FACT CHECK!

    ReplyDelete
  74. Jr auditioning for Days of Thunder II?

    ReplyDelete
  75. Junior got his sense of humor yet at least!

    ReplyDelete
  76. It does keep cars away from him (who wants to get caught in that?)

    ReplyDelete
  77. Is that RA6AN I hear screaming all the way from California????

    ReplyDelete
  78. Ummm, guys??? Don't quit your day jobs.

    ReplyDelete
  79. That's a cute Coke commercial!lol

    ReplyDelete
  80. Ugh my ears are bleeding! =)

Kurt back into the pits - some problem - vibration? Said there is a hole in the race track?!?!

    ReplyDelete
  81. Harvick starting 7th--I'm confident that he can get back to the front, he has a VERY stout car.

    ReplyDelete
  82. 8" by 4" hole in the track - Fox hasnt mentioned it yet...paving equipment sent out to fix it.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Now DW is an expert on paving.lol

    ReplyDelete
  84. Darn I'm hungry but I am not leaving my TV or my computer. I need to do a bit of shopping (I have a new guy) but not going anywhere during the race GRIN

    ReplyDelete
  85. Hey everyone!

Allmendinger has been pretty impressive so far. I had no clue how he'd do when I picked him as my "c" driver.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Send the new man out for shopping Yee! =)

Hey Gonger! I have AJ too...seemed like the logical pick on the C team for some reason.

This just isnt a good showing for our biggest race- cant even keep pavement good!

    ReplyDelete
  87. wonder if I have time to make a quick munchie run?

    ReplyDelete
  88. That and I have to counter the huge stuffed frog he gave me

    ReplyDelete
  89. Who does NOT have AJ? Show of hands. I thought so.

    ReplyDelete
  90. oil leak for Ambrose....the engine wouldn't fire either they say on his twitter page.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Dang, Marcos had a good car. Details kill them alot...

This is BORING!!! but at least we arent watching Digger

    ReplyDelete
  92. OOPS! Wrong graphic, Fox! They put Harvick's graphic on Bowyer's car!

    ReplyDelete
  93. I blame Digger for the hole in the track!

    ReplyDelete
  94. Wonder if Ragan might be little ticked at those FOX guys for making him get rid of his sunblocking glove...

    ReplyDelete
  95. June bug is funny! Are you Serious!?!?!

    ReplyDelete
  96. He seems to be a prince of a man, does that count?

    And I blame Digger too!

    ReplyDelete
  97. Jr. is opening another Whiskey River in Jacksonville, something to fall back on if this racing thing doesn't work out.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Just a reminder for those of you so inclined- it is always open season for hunting gophers in Texas

    ReplyDelete
  99. They need to repave that track starting TOMORROW.

    ReplyDelete
  100. I didn't know the GGW was meeting this week.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Will be very surprising if no more gopher holes appear before race's end.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Hope they get Danica's thoughts during this extended red flag.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Tony's beard > than Jr's....but not much...LOL

    ReplyDelete
  104. Burns said, "waiting on the WHO to come out."?

    ReplyDelete
  105. Me + DW + one bullet = no more pain.

    ReplyDelete
  106. I'm taking suggestions for my NASCAR trip this year anyone have suggestions?

    ReplyDelete
  107. YeeMum, how about Sonoma again? Had a great time last year!

    ReplyDelete
  108. Twice now on the recaps Chris Meyers has sounded doubtful about BK's "tire excuse". Maybe Meyers ain't so bad after all.

    ReplyDelete
  109. I've been doing other things since the delay.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Any bubble about a mini meet this year?

    ReplyDelete
  111. Except Myers thinks Smoke still drives for Gibbs

    Yee - Sonoma trip 2010!

    ReplyDelete
  112. I have a solution: REPAVE THE FRIGGING TRACK, STARTING TOMORROW!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  113. Hammer drill
    Short lengths of rebar
    Hydraulic grout

Track would have been race ready in 15-20 minutes

P.S. Brian is still an idiot.

    ReplyDelete
  114. Well, Jon, as you know I'm not a huge road course fan. But if Kasey wants to win again I'd go if he sent me a pit pass LOL

    ReplyDelete
  115. OH I see if y'al gang up on the Sonoma idea I guess I will consider it.
I'll have to pony up and stay closer to you guys since there is no way I'm driving in that mess

    ReplyDelete
  116. If the track is like this after rain, I can only imagine what Texas will be like. They've got a foot of snow on the ground, plus all the melting and refreezing. I know the pot holes around here are growing exponentially.

    ReplyDelete
  117. I said Burns while ago, it's Meyers. I apologize to Steve Burns!lol

    ReplyDelete
  118. YeeMum, you bring him good luck so far! If you go, he'll win his second straight at Sonoma!

    ReplyDelete
  119. Tonight's possible menu.
Butter sauteed shrimp, mushrooms and zuchinni with creamcheese sauce served over angel hair pasta . Garlic bread.
Guys, does that say happy VDay to you?

    ReplyDelete
  120. use 2 bullets to make sure, Gene.

    ReplyDelete
  121. Yee, it says, "YUMMY!" (And Happy V-Day!)

    ReplyDelete
  122. Danica...blah, blah, blah...Get me a bucket, I need to throw up!

    ReplyDelete
  123. Ratings wise it might have been huge but........Jeez Danica is getting sooo much press.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Jon.Next question.. If you sometimes "stay over" is it cool to get "jammie pants" as a gift? (asking the guys or anyone)

    ReplyDelete
  124. Yum Yee! YEs, stay in our hotel or close to us and we can carpool again.

I knew they couldnt not yak about Danica! Save a bullet for me Gene...

    ReplyDelete
  125. Little girls wanting to be like Danica? Great, as the race car driver. But those "little girls" want to look just like her! If you washed all that makeup off and took away the air-brushing in the magazines, what have you got?

    ReplyDelete
  126. Mizz Mouse is mad at Thorn he is not in the top 10 right now

    ReplyDelete
  127. Yee, I think it would be a VERY cool gift!

Athens, you'd have a woman with slightly above-average looks.

    ReplyDelete
  128. When are they going to resume racing?

    ReplyDelete
  129. the last place you stayed did not have smoking rooms we may need to negotiate.

    ReplyDelete
  130. So I flip over to the Olympics figuring it's got to be more exciting than this. WRONG! They're showing cross country skiing.

    ReplyDelete
  131. lol, K!

Ed just said that "global warming" caused the hole in the track!lol

    ReplyDelete
  132. SB, at least you guys get the Olympics LIVE. Here on the west coast, they're TAPE DELAYED. THANKS AN F'ING LOT NBC!!!

    ReplyDelete
  133. I gotta post this from ED:

"Another disappointing day for Team Yugo Motorsporzen NA, somebody, and I'm not going to point fingers here, left the eight track player on all last night playing ZZ Top's first album...battery deader than a doornail at the start of the race...we never made it out of the parking lot...in other news we had to drop Dr. Bob's Colon Blast as a sponsor after a product "related" accident, let's just say their slogan, "Best to have your pants down before you swig a Dr. Bob's" is right on the money..."

    ReplyDelete
  134. Yee - we can consider other places!

Yea, Olympics are on West coast but we dont see them live....LAME !!!!

    ReplyDelete
  135. Now water is seeping through the seams

    ReplyDelete
  136. Athens- Tell Ed to get over here. We need him to break the monotony of not racing.

    ReplyDelete
  137. I stayed at the Ramada Inn and they had smoking and nonsmoking rooms, as I recall.

    ReplyDelete
  138. Drivers are heading back to their cars! Looks like we'll be racing soon!

    ReplyDelete
  139. Ed isn't on FBook he must be posting on FOX yes kick him from me too Athens

    ReplyDelete
  140. I think the track cooling down and day turning to night, it favors Harvick.

    ReplyDelete
  141. My cheap little hotel had both and wifi and a pool (i am a bit of a spendthrift myself) gave me more cash for swag LOL Are we trying for the other turnthis time? That was turn 7 I think? The terraced area we all liked

    ReplyDelete
  142. Ed sent that in a message on FB and posted the global warming remark on his page, but that was a while ago.

    ReplyDelete
  143. Might be some others joining this year like CR and maybe Socal24 too. We can figure out how to save $$...Turn 7 is my fav place to sit.

    ReplyDelete
  144. Oh my this could cause interesting finishes

    START YOUR ENGINES

    ReplyDelete
  145. YAAAAAAAAAAY! Engines fired up!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  146. THank GOD! DOnt suppose this means we can go commercial free the rest of the race...

    ReplyDelete
  147. Jon....what doesn't favor Harvick? Heh heh.

    ReplyDelete
  148. Kristen, is that the area that weall like and almost got kicked out of? at the 'end' of the track? I flirted with the security guy so we could get in for a few pictures

    ReplyDelete
  149. I wasnt with you but I am pretty sure it was Turn 7 - RAGAN would know 100%

Lights have to be on unless Brian is trying to save money...

    ReplyDelete
  150. Hope it is warmer this year. If I don't bring a guy Mizz mouse might come

    ReplyDelete
  151. Love this guy....

Shawn Courchesne RT @tomjensen100: I've patched up marriages in less time than this

    ReplyDelete
  152. I just bribed Mizz Mouse she says I can go without her.
I suppose starting a new blog on the suject would be preferred. Since we MIGHT get to race soon.........................
If we could find a hotel we all agreed on it would be really cool if we were all there

    ReplyDelete
  153. this has been a complete farce! You can pave in those temps....I know, it's my job to *know* that. I also know that if it took us 7 hours to patch 300m worth of runway, it should NOT take 2 hours to fill a pothole.

    ReplyDelete
  154. GREEN!!

We can try for the same hotel...will definitely have a blog about it on Lugnuts.

You need to apply with Nascar!!

    ReplyDelete
  155. It's not going to be long before Harvick's out front again...

    ReplyDelete
