Who is around to watch this lovely rain delay??
Are we taking an over/under on whether or not we will race tonight or Sunday?
I'm heading to In-n-Out for dinner while they try to dry the track....anyone want a double double??
=)

Help Mr. Wizard!
ReplyDeleteWill the roof cave in if Kyle Busch wins this race?
I've gotta leave in an hour. Won't hear who the winner is until tomorrow morning...
Help me out klvalus! You gotta pull for Kyle! LOL
LOL Dwindy - I think Kyle has been expected to win a Daytona race for awhile now....it would not be that shocking would it?? =)
ReplyDeleteI'll root for Kyle to finish right behind Kurt...and Junior!
Don't think so. The winning car has the Beagle's name on it.
ReplyDeleteHey Kristen, I'll have a double-double!! GO HAPPY!
ReplyDeleteHey Dwindy and SB! I've got Smoke winning tonight, with Jr in second and Happy in third.
ReplyDeleteSB, Jon...
ReplyDeleteYa gotta pull for Kyle! LOL
Kristen said she will!
Dwindy, LOL!
ReplyDeleteHow about Bobby Labonte giving the command to start your engines in honor of his 600th Cup start?
Nice to see a respectful "Start Your Engines"...
ReplyDeleteI've gotta go start my engine now. Everyone enjoy the race and may the best driver/team win!
And the flyover was done by a squadron from Lemoore NAS--I was stoked, as I live a short distance away from the base.
ReplyDeleteOk! Back and totally full now...
ReplyDeleteWill speed thru the rain delay and get caught up to live!
Kyle looks like he was shot out of a cannon!
ReplyDeleteWhat's going on? I just came home from my 4-wheeling date! Is the race just starting?
ReplyDeleteYes Beverly, competition caution on Lap 17. There was an hour and a half rain delay.
ReplyDeleteJust watched Kurt's interview - uh oh if Kurt is taking Eva to Italy after Chicago then that is one of the last things on her to do list before they get preggers....
ReplyDeletePapis and Blaney are first to park and declare themselves done for the evening.

ReplyDeleteGood pit strategy by Happy going with the two tire stop early to see if it works or not.
ReplyDeletewhat lap are you on Jon?
ReplyDeleteIt's lap 20 now Kristen
ReplyDeleteThis is how ALL races should be--run commercials on a small screen with the race on the larger screen. When it's time for a commercial, of course.
ReplyDeleteESad's looking quite racy!
ReplyDeleteDid you see the commerical with RCR guys and the tires? I saw them film that! =)
ReplyDeleteI am on lap 22 right now, will catch up as fast as possible
Gotta say I love seeing Steve Park out there...
ReplyDeleteLooks like two tires is NOT the way to go. Happy's fallen to 15th, and Biff's fallen all the way to 29th.
ReplyDeleteYeah I saw that! I'm watching the race on TV.
ReplyDeleteIt IS good to see Steve Park out there!
ReplyDeleteBrad is trying to help Kurt but that is not always a good thing...seeing how he punted him at Dega!
ReplyDeleteHe's got a Good coming to him after making it all the way back from a serious head injury.
ReplyDeleteTell me if the announcers say anything important. The neighbors are shooting fireworks and I can't hear the TV.lol Like the announcers are going to say anything important.lol
ReplyDeleteOk Bev - so far its just the usual drivel...
ReplyDeleteGood! Glad you are recognizing Steve, Jon.
Whoo, sliding Sam is up front!
Kristen, anyone that makes it all the way back from that serious a head injury DESERVES a Good!
ReplyDeleteNice body double for Smoke in that BK commercial!!
ReplyDeletePenske looking strong tonight! Maybe tonight is finally Kurts night...
ReplyDeleteDoh Burton...
ReplyDeleteLove that car Jr is driven...
Yep--Kevin Harvick's theory about JJ having the Golden Horseshoe rings true again. JJ came in at Lap 48. On Lap 50 his crew radioed him to report that he was about to have a right rear tire blow had he NOT come in.
ReplyDeleteLook at Georgia Boy Sorenson in 3rd!!!
ReplyDeleteDang Kurt speeding! Sammy impressive!
ReplyDeleteKyle punts AJ!
ReplyDeleteWell, there goes my fantasy team--AJ got wrecked.
ReplyDeleteJJ with two tires--that's not going to work, particularly if there is a long green flag run.
ReplyDeleteI have Smoke, Jr, JMac and Sammy...
ReplyDeleteKristen, I have almost the same lineup, with the exception of AJ instead of Sam.
ReplyDeleteThe outside lane seems to be working.
ReplyDeleteIs it me, or is JJ getting close to being dirty?
ReplyDeleteIs JJ going to win ANOTHER race and make it THREE in a row?? Good gawd.
ReplyDeleteJJ is always "dirty" b/c he cant drive on these restrictor plate tracks!!
ReplyDeleteSam is impressive! I hope his luck holds...
I thought this race was going to be a wreck fest, apparently I was wrong!
There's gonna be a Big One that JJ starts and will escape from, just watch.
ReplyDeleteCan't stay awake. Have fun, y'all! Good night!
ReplyDeleteG'night Bev -- this is one of the benefits of being on West Coast!
ReplyDeleteMontoya!!!! takes out shrub...ouch
ReplyDeleteMan I thought that was sam who did it.
Hello helmet throw coming!
Night Bev!
ReplyDeleteKristen, should make for some additional fireworks!
ReplyDeleteWow new Kyle - he gave an interview...and a good one!
ReplyDeleteWoot! Penske all lined up!
ReplyDeleteNOW for sure I'm DONE on my fantasy team! Cupcake was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
ReplyDeleteClose one for Sam. Smoke 1st off pit lane.
ReplyDeleteHi Kris & Jon!
GOOD pit stop by the #29 crew! Gained two spots off pit road! Smoke took two tires, and that won't work.
ReplyDeleteHey CR!
ReplyDeleteHey CR! All West Coasters left watching...
ReplyDeleteYup, Cupcake is done - there goes one off my team
Doing anything special this weekend? I caught a really nice trout last nite.
ReplyDeletePark in top 10!
ReplyDeleteNeighborhood BBQ tomorrow...Alameda County Fair on Monday.
ReplyDeleteHubby loves trout!
RCR 1-2-3!
ReplyDeleteParade tomorrow, BBQ w' the enlaws. Maybe go fishing again Monday. Race is getting racey!
ReplyDeleteWHAT A MOVE BY KURT!
ReplyDeleteAt least they were on my last post
ReplyDeleteKurt's move took BALLS.
ReplyDeleteI think Kurt is testing moves for the final laps - took it 3 wide, powered a sling shot and then went back to hook up with Sammy.
ReplyDeleteThis is going to get good! Where the heck is JUNYER!!??!
Pit strategy goes out the window now.
ReplyDeleteI just read that you were having In-n-Out burgers for dinner Kristen. Dang, I wish we had one up here... we had to settle for the ever-delicious, Taco Bell! LOL
ReplyDeleteTACO BELL~! BLECH Why not cook the trout? =)
ReplyDeleteYES! Brew Crew kicking BUTT!
ReplyDeleteShaping up to be a battle between Penske and RCR!!
ReplyDeleteGood stop for the Brew Crew, er, I mean Two Crew...
ReplyDeleteKristen, gotta give props to the Brew Crew on that stop: 13.1 seconds! GREAT stop!
ReplyDeleteFunny CR...soon to be the two two crew...!
ReplyDeleteperhaps they can wear yellow tutus.
Penske v RCR = Kristen v Jon!
Too much trouble to do the trout, with a race on and all! ;)
ReplyDeleteShould be a great finhish!
ReplyDeletewish it were only 3 to go! 20 to go lots can happen yet
ReplyDeleteGO RCR!! (No offense to the Brew Crew!)
ReplyDeleteTurtle and the Robot got together....caution!
ReplyDeleteI think Kurt doesnt want the lead going into the final laps - he is better in 2nd or 3rd and will have to time the pass. Too loose in front to keep it up there
Just watch Team Penske and Team RCR wreck each other and Jeff Gordon win! LOL
ReplyDeleteEven better Sorenson!
CRAP!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHOLY CRAP!
ReplyDeleteHarvick and Bowyer escaped The Big One. So did Menard.
ReplyDeleteMan Kurt did amazing job saving that car thru the grass...
ReplyDeleteDamn Burton!!
Kristen!!! Next time keep your thoughts to your self! LOL You're a prophet!
ReplyDelete=) I gotta go bet on some ponies!!
ReplyDeletePut a lug nut on one for me;-)
ReplyDelete10-4 CR...
ReplyDeleteOk what next? Junior wins!??!
Sam's car looks pretty good - he could come thru the field of ...whats left...maybe 10 cars!
ReplyDeleteLOL
Red flag lifted, now under yellow.
ReplyDeleteKahne could steal a win tonight.
ReplyDeleteI dont think Kurt is getting enough kudos for keeping that car under control (sorta) thru the grass...
ReplyDeleteLets see the carnage!
They are all comin! Comeon Brew Crew fix that car!!
ReplyDeleteHarvick is the first car with four tires.
ReplyDeleteKurt's splitter angled up. But he SURE DID A NICE JOB MOWING THE GRASS!
ReplyDeleteLets see if we can finish without another caution...any bets?
ReplyDeleteCR you are such a smart arse! =P
ReplyDeleteI'm betting on another caution in the next few laps!
ReplyDeleteHere we go!!
ReplyDeleteThere ya go kristen... Kyle just dumped some kudos on Kurt!
ReplyDeleteThank you KYLE!
ReplyDeleteHere comes Gordon...did I call that or what?!
ReplyDeleteDamn it!!
ReplyDeleteSam cannot catch a break!
ReplyDeleteWhat up with Sideways Sam?
ReplyDeleteToo bad for Sam... he had a great night.
ReplyDeleteI dont think Kurt hit anything...he could make something up on GWC. Poor Sam...sigh
ReplyDeleteSo... are we the only 3 lugnuts watching this? I understand Gene is in Atlantic City getting lap danced, but where's everyone else?
ReplyDeleteEast Coast its almost 1a.m. Bev was here earlier, SB doesnt have TV coverage, Tez is with GF this week so not allowed to watch, Dwindy out...Gene getting lap dances as you noted...thats about it right?
ReplyDeleteSteve Park in top 10...amazing!
ReplyDeleteLOL... I forgot about the time zone thing.
ReplyDeleteSounds like Tez needs to find a new GF! lol
Park's DEFINITELY getting a Good tonight!
ReplyDeleteLOL - Tez only see's her about 1x a month so I understand...bad timing- shouldda gone next week for the snoozer at Chicago!
ReplyDeleteOK, Kristen... since you're so prophetic, who's winning the race?
ReplyDeleteI'll stick with Gordon...
ReplyDeleteI'm going with Happy
ReplyDeleteCool. I was almost gona pick him in trifecta.
ReplyDeleteThat was teh obvious choice Jon! LOL
ReplyDeleteKurt might have been a bit agro!
ReplyDeleteWAY TO GO HAPPY!
ReplyDeleteCongrats Happy!!
ReplyDeleteGod, top 10 for Kurt...amazing...
WAY TO GO HAPPY!! WOOHOO!!!!
ReplyDeleteGREAT recovery by Kurt to finish in the top 10!
ReplyDeletewhheewww! That was a crazy final 25 laps! Goodnight my NoCal friends. Have a great 4th!;-)
ReplyDeleteG'night CR and Jon!
ReplyDeleteGreat race tonight and even better chatting!
I'll have my GBU up later this evening--getting ready for company tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteNight Kristen and CR!
ReplyDeleteCute move Harvick. Move the NASCAR girl to see if there's any sponsors he missed! Cool win!
ReplyDeleteThis is a test to see if the comment actually posts...
