Daytona 500 2011

Hey Race Fans!

Looks like I'll be going to the 2011 Daytona 500 next Feb!! I am not sure I can get creds but I'll slum it in the stands for this one... =)

I will be going with friends of my family who live in Daytona Beach and who are "rookie" race fans. So I have a free place to stay at least. Probably they will be getting 2 day tickets for Sat/Sun only.

If you are interested in an Lugnuts meet up at the race let me know and I'll include you on the planning emails so we can all sit together etc.

I've got Dwindy and Gene on the interested list already - any other takers??

    I want pictures! Daytona is way over my eastern horizon... sure would be interesting though.

    Dwindy I only know the cheer -- L.E.T.S.G.O thats the way we spell lets go LETS GO, hey hey LETS GO! LOL

    No idea where every one is, you would think I would know this by now after mailing everyone lugnuts!

    Moseby is in D.C. Could you imagine Chris, Moseby & Hanahan together in Daytona? Dwindy, you'd have to be the designated driver!LOL

    Sounds like an interesting idea. Right now I can't plan that far ahead but I will try. I sold my RV due to high gas prices but I can rent one down there or in Pensacola.How big of an RV will we need?

    Photo - would *love* you to join us! Tez and I were reminiscing at Sonoma about how you and Falcons ripped me a new one when I first started a Foxsports and entered the contest...getting to finally meet up would be a real treat! =)

    I would have lodging so that would leave you guys - maybe 4 of you so far?

    I'd love to get to Daytona next year!

    That said, I don't know that it is in the cards. I will keep it in mind.

    I am trying to figure out a way to get back to Sonoma next year... :)

    Hey Annette! How ya been stranger!? Please do keep it in mind, I'll kick you an email just before we buy tickets in case you can do it and if not, fingers will be crossed you can still make it or you can get to Sonoma again...

    Sounds like fun. Problem is I'm trying to take my nephews to Disney World next April. So getting off work would be tight and expensive.

    However, there are talks going on between a buddy and I to rent an RV and make the Dega race for Fall 2011...
