ReplyDeleteI finally got an e-mail back the other day. The project is still on track. He is no longer working on it; they have hired a professional writer(presumably one who knows more about NASCAR than this guy did). I have an e-mail in to the people at the game company, so I guess we're still in wait and see mode.

ReplyDeleteHi Kristen. We added about $6,000 new debt when we were trying to save our yorkie last month. My priority was going to the ALMS race at Laguna Seca in May. But now it looks like I can't even do that. On the bright side, we picked up our new boy, Rascal at the Portland airport yesterday. He's a little angel, and we're happy to have him.

ReplyDeleteRascal is adjusting to his new home just fine. He was happy to find his favorite toys that his Mom sent us last week. It was so sad for us to loose Shamus last month... he was only 10 months old. Swallowed some plastic, from chewing something. Then had two bowell resections, became septic, and had to go to puppy heaven. Vet bill was over $10,000. But, we had to do all we could.
ReplyDeleteOh, that is so hard CR. Used to be a vet tech so have seen lots of sad situations like that and big bills as well.

ReplyDeleteKatie has 3 different lists when it comes to voodoo: The NO VOODOO EVER list(Tony, Ryan, Mark Martin); The NO VOODOO UNLESS YOU INTENTIONALLY WRECK TONY list(Kurt and Kyle, plus we promised Hanny no Kyle voodoo); and the NO VOODOO UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE-they're having enough bad luck as it is list(Junior and anyone driving for RCR, although the restriction on RCR is probably going to be lifted soon).
