Our last race chat of 2009! Its been a rough year on and off the track especially with us being homeless mid-season -- So glad we were all able to stick together and stay in touch.
The fat lady has pretty much sung on this season although I know a few of you are still hoping for MM to pull an upset. At least we can say to the whippersnapper youngins that will be watching the sport in 20 years that we saw JJ win it when...
Enjoy the race today even if its boring b/c we will all be going thru withdrawals soon enough!!
Let's go racin!

Congrats to Justin "Lil Gator" for winning the rookie of the year in NNW!
ReplyDeleteLots of HMS yabbering going on on ABC...
Hi Kristen! Yeah, it's a lovefest with HMS. I did something else. I second those congrats to Allgaier for that ROY award.
ReplyDeleteI just gotta say, I love Mike Rowe!
ReplyDeletehi guys!
ReplyDeleteHey Jon -- I am doing a bunch of chores as well...we are re-arranging our entire living room!
ReplyDeleteKinda sad that Rick's niece is so sick...
I never heard of Mike Rowe before...Hi Ragan!
ReplyDeleteLove your conspiracy theory overheard at Homestead. I cant believe team orders have not been to take JJ out - its the only way to beat him! I honestly think Sam and Stremme or BK could have done the trick!
Carl Edwards in-race reporter AGAIN?? WTH?
ReplyDeleteHey RA6AN! Hope Rick Hendrick's niece gets well soon.
ReplyDeleteKristen, Mike Rowe hosts Dirty Jobs and the Deadliest Catch on Discovery Channel and is the voice of the Ford F-150 commercials.
He is so well spoken and probably wont curse too much! LOL
ReplyDeleteAh, thanks for the explanation on Rowe, Jon. I dont watch either of those shows.
ReplyDeleteMethinks JJ's going to be out front for pretty much the whole race. He wants to put a "NO DOUBT" stamp on this one.
ReplyDeleteNo problem Kristen. I watch both of those shows.
ReplyDeleteMike Rowe is SF local. At one time, he sang opera. He's got an awesome voice.
ReplyDeleteInteresting Ragan -- who knew! =)
ReplyDeleteGreen Green Green and JJ gets his 5 points
Lets go Kurt! Go get 3rd from Jeffy G!
ReplyDeleteHappy's running well so far!
ReplyDeleteAnywho, I gots tons o stuff to get done today. Here's hoping for no snoozefest and that MM can beat the odds. See ya!
ReplyDeleteMarcos Ambrose is running great as well! Oy!
ReplyDeleteSee ya later RA6AN!
ReplyDeleteAmbrose in the lead!
ReplyDeleteC-ya Ragan...go do your thang!
ReplyDeleteThe Aussie to the front! Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi! Oi! Oi!
Oi! Aussie pitting with problems...
ReplyDeleteit was a wonderful 4 laps from Marcos though, lol
ReplyDeleteToo bad about Ambrose's tire issues. Smoke on the move.
ReplyDeleteIs this going to be another JJ and Chad Show?
ReplyDeleteI think his day is done....saying he's down to about 2 cylinders :(
ReplyDeleteHEY GUYS,
ReplyDeleteGONNA BE IN AND OUT HERE DURING THE RACE , BUT WANTED TO SAY SINCE THIS IS GONNA BE THE LAST WEEK FOR HOT AND NOT FOR THIS YEAR THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT AND OPINIONS.
GUNAQUAT
Hey Tez - what a bummer for Marcos! He will win one next year for sure...
ReplyDeleteHey GUNNY! Loved your H/N this season you did a great job.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Marcos car is a mess - battery issue or ??
Marcos is saying it's electrical.
ReplyDeleteCome on KURT!! This is the FIRST time ABC has even mentioned him...so LAME especially after how much better they did this year compared to last...
ReplyDeleteBah Smoke to the lead...
ReplyDeleteHey Gunaquat. Smoke into the lead!
ReplyDeleteHi everyone-
ReplyDeleteJust got home from church. My Sunday school class had its annual Christmas craft show today. So glad it's over for another year.
So what have we missed?
TONY TAKES THE LEAD!!!!!!
STEWART IS DOING ALL THE GOOD STUFF A WEEK LATE LOL LOL
ReplyDeleteWe should have had a pool as to who would be the first to start and park...
ReplyDeleteHey SB!
ReplyDeleteKRIS,
ReplyDeleteON THIS LATE WEEK WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT A HOT OR NOT SEASON OVERVIEW RATHER THEN JUST THIS RACE
Hey Speedy! Did you get anything good at the craft show? Or did you make stuff? Voodoo dolls perhaps?
ReplyDeleteAnd...Michael McDowell wins! Those of you who had McDowell as the first start and parker come on up to claim your prize!!!
ReplyDeleteJon I think McDowell is already parked! LOL
ReplyDeleteGUNNY - I would do Homestead and then a year end but that is just me...do what'cha like!
Kristen, I think he skipped town with his prize money!
ReplyDeleteWELL TAHT IS WHAT I WAS THINKING BUT NOT SURE IF JORGE WILL PUBLISH IT OR NOT
ReplyDeleteMcDowell won as the first one to start and park!
ReplyDeleteaPopping in
ReplyDeleteGUNNY - Well do what you want regardless of what Jorge wants! We will read it! And I bet he would link to it if you did one...
ReplyDeleteHey YEE!! How the heck are you?!?!?!
HEY RENN,
ReplyDeleteHOW YOU DOING SWEETIE
I nteresting move by Bowyer
ReplyDeleteHey YeeMum!
ReplyDeleteKris-
ReplyDeleteNo voodoo dolls, although we have discovered that the problem with the JJ voodoo dog is that it's not specific enough, so looks like we'll be putting money into JJ's pocket to buy something more specific to that team for next year.
As for the craft show, I don't buy, I make stuff to sell. We do two fundraisers a year with the children's Sunday school class(ages 2-11, so mommies and teachers really do all the crafting). We take the money from the craft show, go toy shopping with the kids, and buy Christmas presents for foster children served by Lutheran Social Services.
SPEEDBEAGLE,
ReplyDeleteYOU ARE THE BOMB
Happy in the lead!
ReplyDeleteI'm Ok mostly
ReplyDeleteWoot to Happy to the lead!
ReplyDeleteVery cool cause SB - what is your crafty specialty?
Kristen-
ReplyDeleteI crochet. I usually do scarves, hats, and potholders. This year, I also designed a Luther's Rose Christmas tree ornament.
Tony back in front!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSB - that is a good skill to have...the closest crafty thing I used to do was latch hook! LOL
ReplyDeleteBack to re-arranging the living room...
Awwww - Ambrose spins.
On a football note, Chiefs upset the Steelers, 27-24...
ReplyDeleteAmbrose IS having a tough day!
speedbeagle,
ReplyDeletenext year let me know early and maybe can get ann to make a few for you guys to sale she does that knot tying thing all the time
SB, hope it was the best yet!
ReplyDeleteHappy back into the lead!
ReplyDeleteWoot! JG could have a flat...could go a lap down just what Kurt needs to gain on him!
ReplyDeleteJeff Gordon with a tire issue.
ReplyDeleteGunny-
ReplyDeleteThat would be AWESOME!!!!!
JPM's racy on this run.
ReplyDeletewil stay in contact with you on those projects, she also does the covered coathangers for thing s like slacks and soft type blouses
ReplyDeleteI was on the phone (giving some hope to someone in prison) what did I miss?
ReplyDeleteYou came back to hear Jimmie whine about how close Bowyer is to him when they're racing.
ReplyDeleteIs Montoya going to take Jimmie Out?
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't be surprised. Caution for Ambrose tagging the wall.
ReplyDeleteDang you can tell JJ is stressed out! Complaining about Bowyer - but in all fairness Bowyer was driving a bit wonky! LOL Why JJ is racing by Montoya is beyond me!!!!
ReplyDeleteOk, how do you all decide where to hang shelves...this is tough! LOL
Sorry SB - I am not crafty so can't really help but very cool GUNNY can hook you up!
Yee - whats up with your job search?
ReplyDeleteDon't look now, but Denny Hamlin is getting better as the race goes on.
ReplyDeleteOMG ! What the ! All heck has broke loose!
ReplyDeleteWow. Sadler out due to Menard's stupidity...RPM lost two cars in that mess.
Smoke v JPM - now that would be a great cage match!
I am working part time as a GM for a resturant (a new business that is already in trouble)Just payroll and genaral accounting
ReplyDeleteBut other than that I'm not working
Kristen, I think it was the #96 of Erik Darnell that caused the mess.
ReplyDeleteKristen I have finally decided to go to counselling. I have group Monday and one on one Tuesday. I see a lot of grief coming my way this holiday season and decided to be a big girl and let people try to help
ReplyDeleteKurt looks OK if his brother leaves him alone.
ReplyDeleteHow loud is Jimmie going to whine if the pack takes him out?
Someon e Jinx Jeffy
ReplyDeleteNice Kasey
ReplyDeletequiet in here
ReplyDeleteKasey's moving forward--perhaps the night time will be the right time for him.
ReplyDeleteYee-- Glad you are taking care of yourself and going for counseling. No shame in that!! I hope you get all the extra support you need and of course we are always here to listen too.
ReplyDeleteGM of a restaurant sounds like it would keep you hoppin' at least.
Kasey is coming alive -- what do you all think of Kasey saying he is out of RPM's after next year...do you think he will last that long?
ReplyDeleteWow, Hamster up to 5th in points...
Unfortuantly the 'owner' has no idea what she is into and has no investors (Or capital)
ReplyDeleteNice to see JJ actually have to RACE for the championship rather than just ride out front. I often think he loses some of his skills b/c he is never in traffic...
ReplyDeleteOy...I see why you put "owner" in quotes then! $$ is kinda a pre-req to run a restaurant.
ReplyDeletethe turtle needs to get in gear
ReplyDeleteWOOT! Kurt to the front!!
ReplyDeleteabout Kasey. See how the season shakes up. Drivers are struggling for rides. If he gets a sweet deal (hello Smoke) he'll jump --if not he will have to stick
ReplyDeleteDang it JUNIOR!! They must get their mojo back...next year.
ReplyDeleteKurt 'kicked' Jeff G -- giggle
ReplyDeleteKatie's doing all she can with the JJ voodoo dog
ReplyDeleteStopping JJ may take more voodoo than one little beagle can muster.
ReplyDeleteI've got my dogs stepping on a JJ poster (just trying to help)
ReplyDeleteWOOO!!!!! It is a JPM and Smoke cage match...
ReplyDeleteWell Kurt will finish safely in front of Smoke in the standings which will win me a few bets!
JPM had a score to settle with Smoke.
ReplyDeletethere goes my trifecta, lol
ReplyDeleteShockers 42 being held for agro driving!
ReplyDeleteHole in roof on Kasey?
JPM being black flagged for two laps.
ReplyDeleteYeeMum-
ReplyDeleteThat works! Every little bit helps.
Look at Kasey now1
ReplyDeleteI just don't want to see a Hamlin win!
ReplyDeleteKatie will be getting a Target dog for Christmas
ReplyDeleteNice work Kurt!
ReplyDeleteWhy do re-arranging projects always lead to more projects?!? oy...
ReplyDeleteKurt is doing awesome...now we need Gordon to do something stupid or get wrecked. Where is Montoya?
I'm glad I didn't pick JPM for my fantasy team! I do have Smoke. GRRRR @ Montoya!!!
ReplyDeleteHamsters crew is on fire tonight...not sure what happened to my brew crew that stop. My guess is they made adjustments...I hope!
ReplyDeletethe turtle is on the move
ReplyDeleteHey gang!! Hope had a great and safe weekend.
ReplyDeleteNot to get my self in trouble with all the smoke fans but why didn't he get to sit for 2 laps for taking out Montoya,. lol.lol.
That is sad to know unless something big happens which I said would but running out of time has car go out of the race, but NASCAR champion crying to crew chief about cars racing him hard is the second biggest joke in NASCAR to Brian France buying a Judge to keep his court files underapps.
Ok Dale Jr's season is the second BUT Johnson is 3rd.lol
I still got hope for Mark. CHEERS2ALL.
Hey F2
ReplyDeleteHey F2! I agree, I guess Smoke wasnt as blatantly agro in their eyes...plus they dont want to mess with a new owner!
ReplyDeleteSheesh, I dunno about the 2 tire stop there Kurt and Pat!!! OY OY OY!!
just two tyres for Kurt....how are your nerves now, Kristen?
ReplyDeleteIs Kurt going to prove them wrong on his 2 tires?
ReplyDeleteno, lol
ReplyDeleteThat was a gutsy call by Pat -- likely his final one for the 2 team. Maybe he is trying to make it easier to let him go!! LOL
ReplyDeleteWay cool lap narrated by Carl for us fans! Thanks Carl
ReplyDeletePat is looking like a genius now...amazing!
ReplyDeleteKurt's making that two tire change work so far...
ReplyDeleteSOMEONE catch Denny, PLEASE!!
ReplyDeleteGood race between Happy and Crabby (aka Kurt!)
ReplyDeleteSome one take Gordon out!!
ReplyDeleteWHERE'S that caution for debris??
ReplyDeleteDang check out that Dodge horsepower!
ReplyDeleteLast lap for Mikey as a FT racer... sad
ReplyDeleteeep
ReplyDeleteOne lap left in the season...
ReplyDeleteDamn
ReplyDeleteJJ
Happy edges out Kurt for third!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Hamster and to JJ -- he is amazing.
ReplyDeleteand withdrawls begin
ReplyDeleteGood thing you have counseling Yee! (smile)
ReplyDeleteKristen, I'm putting ABC in the BAD category in my GBU!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of GBU, off to do the last one of the season. Later!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Kurt for being the best of the rest!!
ReplyDeleteBye Jon!
ReplyDeleteGreat chatting with everyone for the last time in 2009...
Maybe we can chat during the banquet!!! LOL
Off to update the Trifecta. Thinking about a few ideas for next season.
ReplyDeleteall I can say...well, two things really; great to chat to everyone on here during races and thank you for youtube during the offseason, LOL!
ReplyDeleteBye SB! Hope you have some new storylines to entertain us with next year...
ReplyDeleteTez - LOL see you on You Tube!
