ReplyDeleteCWTS- Coulter
NNS- ESad
Cup- Bad Brad
So many choices... So little time...
ReplyDeleteHow about:
CWTS - Austin "I've gotta get back in this thing" Dillon
NWS - Kyle "Gotta get past Martin" Busch
F1 - Young Mr. Vettel!
Thanks You SB!
CR here,
ReplyDeleteGonna try this again... My first post went into a black hole.
NWS- Clint Bowyer
F1- Fernando Alonso
IndyCar- Helio Castroneves
--DRIVER CHANGES--
ReplyDeleteTrucks--Happy (who else?)
NNS--Bad Brad
Cup--Kurt Busch
Yeah, you're right--not much time to enjoy the win!!
I could get used to having racing on Wednesday night, lol
ReplyDeleteTrucks - Kyle "still got my license" Busch
will probably pick Indycar and F1 but those can wait a couple more days until at least we get some practice times :)
Hmmm, I said I would just pick whatever Dwindy picked but to be honest CR's picks are more to my liking! I'll stand on my own with these more or less...
ReplyDeleteTrucks - Kyle!
F1 - Lewis!
IRL - Dario! Dario!
jon-
ReplyDeleteAccording to FoxSports, Parker Kliegerman will be subbing for Brad in the Nationwide race.
tez-
ReplyDeleteKyle lost his license for 45 days.
jon (via Facebook) is changing to Bowyer in the NNS race
ReplyDeleteThe Beagle picks:
ReplyDeleteCup- Kyle "time to sweep the house again" Busch
F1- Sebastian "the only logical choice" Vettel
Indy- Will "more" Power
Kristen, guess what I found in the rocking chair in our family room today? Mail from over a week ago... and in it, a free reserved seat pass to the Grand Prix of Sonoma! lol ....now, question is, do I want to run away for the weekend? hmmmm....
ReplyDelete...thinking about the snail's pace exit after the race, makes me think I may want to just stay home and take a nap! lol
ReplyDeleteHeck CR, just go to the race and take your nap while the parking area clears out after the race!
ReplyDeleteCup - Kyle
ReplyDeleteF1 - Vettel
IRL - Dixon
Tez here: he only lost his drivers license, not his racing license, SB.
ReplyDeleteHanny (via Facebook)
ReplyDeleteCWTS- Kyle
Go CR! I'd go Sat to see them practice and skip the race...its all single file no passing anyway...but cool to see those cars on that track. They fly!
ReplyDeleteI didnt buy tickets so no passes for me =(
I believe I might need to take the penalty for changing races after this one...
ReplyDeleteand yeah, go for it, CR!
ReplyDeleteTrouble in River City! The Harvick / Kyle Busch fued takes off again!
ReplyDeleteDillon runs out of fuel? :(
SB... Give me the penalty and I'll take Will Power in the Indycar race...
For those who had a stake in the truck race- jon picks up where he left off last week, dwindy will be taking advantage of the dump a race penalty, and I expect to be hearing from Hanny, Kristen, and Tez.
ReplyDeletejon 1
Hanny 30
tez 30
kristen 30
Gimme the penalty and give me:
ReplyDeleteNW - Cousin Carl...
That way I can still use Cup race if need be! LOL
Tez here...I concur with K's staement about using the Cup race if I go 2 for 2 with dud picks, lol
ReplyDeleteNW - Kasey Kahne
Hey Tez... Now I'm really tempted to drive down to Sonoma. They have a Historic Formula 1 race on Sunday, before the IndyCar race. "up to 20 Formula 1 cars from the past. Still, I must be getting old, because the drive has me fretting; 5 1/2 hrs down, and about 8 hrs back home with all the post race traffic!
ReplyDeleteNW... KYLE!
ReplyDeleteCup... KYLE!
CWTS... Dropping KYLE!
Indy... Dario
Tez again: CR, remember that I drove 5 hours each way to see a freaking Canadian Tire Series race...surely Indycar and historic F1 ranks slightly higher on the 'awesomeness' scale?
ReplyDeleteOk, after the Nationwide race, the standings look like this
ReplyDeletejon 1
CR 3
Dwindy 6
Hanny 6
kristen 10
tez 24
moseby and the Beagle will run their first race tomorrow night.
you know, in my current form, I pity whoever I pick, LOL
ReplyDeleteI shall likely dump KK and the NW race, SB *sigh*
Tez it's that post championship slump!
ReplyDeleteYou partied too much after last season's Lug Nuts win! Gotta put that Fosters down! LOL
I guess Jon wants more time to enjoy his win? 3rd pick in the NNS race was a wiser pick than the first two.
ReplyDeleteTez, I'm picking the opposite of your picks next week! If you pick the 14 car in a race, I'm picking the 41 car. If you pick the the 33, I'm picking the ....what the? LOL
righto, who can I pick in NASCAR that won't impact you guys....
ReplyDeleteCup - Matt Kenseth
F1 - still going with Vettel
Indycar - Scott Dixon
TEZ! Why Vettel??? Hmmmm.... Should I switch? Don't think it much matters with Jon going for the gusto again...
ReplyDeleteGuess I'll hang in...
Due to a dismal qualifying, I'm dropping Alonso in F1, and I'll take Lewis Hamilton instead.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
Well I'm getting a late start, but I'm off to sunny Sonoma! ...."this is crazy, this is crazy" ...ala Clark Griswold in "Vacation" lol
ReplyDeletehave fun, CR!
ReplyDeleteOk, the standings with ALL players having completed one race:
ReplyDeletejon 1
CR 3
Dwindy 6
Hanny 6
kristen 10
SB 14
moseby 14
tez 16
Ok, with jon and hanny having completed TWO races:
CR 3
jon 4
Dwindy 6
kristen 10
SB 14
moseby 14
tez 16
Hanny 20
and the final list showing jon's race card complete(maybe)
CR 3
Dwindy 6
kristen 10
SB 14
moseby 14
tez 16
Hanny 20 (has finished TWO races)
jon 21 (has finished THREE races)
So, the question becomes will jon and/or hanny drop the dismal performances of the Busch brothers?
I'm dropping Kurt Busch's sucky performance and going with (drumroll please):
ReplyDeleteORIOL SERVIA for the IndyCar race.
The Beagle is dropping Will Power in the IndyCar race and going with Ryan Briscoe.
ReplyDeleteSo with everyone having completed TWO races:
ReplyDeleteDwindy 7
jon 9
SB 15
moseby 15
tez 17
Hanny 20
CR 25
kristen 32
CR really should have stuck with Fred instead of switching to Hamster :o
ReplyDeleteWell, this has been an interesting week to say the least. CR dumps Alonso's dismal qualifying performance in favor of Hamilton's dismal race performance. Jon dumped Kurt's 17th place finish in the Cup race for Servia's 17th place finish in the Indy race(and picked up a 5 point penalty for his troubles). And our winner is
ReplyDeleteDwindy 8
moseby 17
SB 18
tez 19
jon 26
Hanny 28
CR 38
kristen 40
Oy! Congrats Dwindy yet again!! Seems like several of us beat ourselves this week with wheeling and dealing....
ReplyDeleteI'm back home. That was worth the trip. Thanks for twisting my arm into going! I'll post some pics on FB tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteBTW... How did I end up with 38 points when I had a 3rd in NNS, and a 2nd in IndyCar? I don't think there are 33 cars in F1, and I didn't change races, I changed to Hamilton before the race.
By my calculation, I should have 27 points. Which is enough to put me in front of Hanny on next week's grid! I'm filing a protest! lol
ReplyDeleteOh, and congratulations to Dwindy! I can almost hear Dandy Don, singing "Turn Out the Lights, the Party's over"
ReplyDeleteHow's that saying go? Even an old blind squirrel can find an acorn every once in a while! LOL!
ReplyDeleteYou guys all know more about NASCAR and F1 and IndyCar than I do... It's just a question of luck at work here.
Tez here: I can't believe that I wound up 4th having taken 2 penalties, LOL
ReplyDeletecongrats to Dwindy again...you're doing what Vettel is doing in F1 this year :P

jon 20 (Servia- finished 11th)
