the F1 team (the BBC ones) chatting with George Lucas about making movies. George said that, in general, sports movies don't work as people want to watch the real thing, lol
Will they change the halftime reset for the Texas Twin Indycar race next year? Definitely not fair the way it's set up. Either, invert the entire field, or leave as they finished race one.
Biggest surprise of the night was Danica not selecting #1 position on the reset. She must have not been clear on which tire they told her to choose.
Or, "Tricky Triangle"?
ReplyDeleteGood to see K Harvick not driving like a clown.
ReplyDeleteFirst commercial, First caution.
ReplyDeleteNice of TNT to continue Fox's streak.
I'm watching F1 from Montreal instead, lol
ReplyDeleteHey Tez, Pocono would be better in the rain, too.
ReplyDeletepossibly...but we can't have the purty-looking Cup cars getting wet, Helton would complain *rolls eyes*
ReplyDeleteTwin 100 lappers at Pocono would be the best improvement for Cup cars there.
ReplyDeleteWow! Race Buddy is awesome on nascar.com
ReplyDeletego clockwise around it instead, lol
ReplyDeletered flag at Montreal....rain is chucking it down! :o
ReplyDeleteWait, what? They don't want to get those purty-looking drivers get wet? ;)
ReplyDeleteit's supposed to be an F1 race, not the world powerboat championship, lol
ReplyDeleteRain less than a half mile from Pocono track now.
ReplyDeleteand nowhere near half distance.
ReplyDeleteReportedly is going north AND south of the track. LOL. Rain is visible very close to the track on racebuddy.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info, Larry Mac.... for the 10th time!
ReplyDeleteAnd there goes my jinx pick... Carl Edwards. Thank you, my work is done here.
ReplyDeleteif it's any consolation, Dwindy jinxed Hamilton in the F1 race too.
ReplyDeleteHaha Tez, Ham thought he would win it in the 1st turn of the 1st lap.... he would fit in nicely at NASCAR.
ReplyDeleteF1 engines firing back up now.
ReplyDeleteor not...I think they're just trying to get the crowds' hopes up, lol
ReplyDeletethe F1 team (the BBC ones) chatting with George Lucas about making movies. George said that, in general, sports movies don't work as people want to watch the real thing, lol
ReplyDeleteI agree with George on that. The best 'sports' movies work because of the 'off the field' storyline... not the actual sport. Not all but most.
ReplyDeletePlenty of guys will blurt out, "Bull Durham", as a great sports movie... it's really a chick flick.
F1 to restart in 13 minutes.
ReplyDeleteAre they waiting on the track to completely dry? lol
ReplyDeleteno, they were waiting for the rain to let off before getting all the sweepers out there, lol

they could do what they do in the British Touring Cars...for the final race of the weekend, they reverse just the top 10.
ReplyDeleteVettel might be off next....laughing at his rivals tripping over each other, lol
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be an interesting Trifecta. F1.com showing Alonso and Hamilton out of it.
ReplyDeleteDang it! if only Webber hadn't taken out Alonso! lol
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Jeff!
WOW! Way to jinx Vettel tez! lol
ReplyDeleteGreat end to the F-1! Pocono, notsomuch.
ReplyDeleteI hardly think finishing 2nd means the jinx works, lol
ReplyDeleteWell, the force is strong in Vettel tez.
