What I heard as well Dwindy - problem is they all have completely opposite ideas on how to tune the car...me thinks too many cooks in the kitchen but what do I know.
Kurt clearly not handling any better after that slide off turn 2!
Kristen, I'm going to try to swing it, but I'm not making any guarantees. I'll probably know in the next two weeks. But it's looking like a possibility.
Is Marcos a magnet for wrecks tonight? None of those wrecks have been of his doing! Logano's the third driver that's gotten loose and made contact with Ambrose!
Kyle Busch got into Harvick, who got into Bowyer. Busch flat out wrecked the two RCR cars. Per Harvick's crew chief: we'll get him (Kyle Busch) another time.
Might be talkin to myself tonight! LOL
ReplyDeleteI'll be in and out. I can either have nose to the computer monitor or nose to the tv screen.
ReplyDeleteHey Speedy! I have a work party tonight so will only be around for about an hour and half...maybe a third of this long race! LOL
ReplyDeleteHey Kristen! I'm like the Beagle--I'll be in and out.
ReplyDeleteHey Jon! No Happy this week in the 'fecta eh?
ReplyDeleteHey Lug Nuts!
ReplyDeleteI'll be here for a little while...
Kristen, you've got a work party? I get to go work! LOL
Hey Dwindy - I think I'd rather be partying than working... =)
ReplyDeleteYeah, Kurt crashed. Kristen jinxed him :o)
ReplyDeleteKristen, this isn't one of Happy's better tracks, despite him finishing 2nd in 2003.
ReplyDeleteI did jinx him on twitter I was congratulating him on his 3rd place run in practice and 2 min later wreck! doh!
ReplyDeleteI understand Penske had 4 shop engineers in addition to their regular crew at Darlington this week to get the double deuce in proper order...
ReplyDeleteWhat I heard as well Dwindy - problem is they all have completely opposite ideas on how to tune the car...me thinks too many cooks in the kitchen but what do I know.
ReplyDeleteKurt clearly not handling any better after that slide off turn 2!
Speaking of Happy, he's got a good car tonight.
ReplyDeleteJon - any new thoughts on your ability to come to Sonoma?
ReplyDeleteKristen, I'm going to try to swing it, but I'm not making any guarantees. I'll probably know in the next two weeks. But it's looking like a possibility.
ReplyDeletewell at least its still a possibility! I just got my creds approved so I am all set...whew!
ReplyDeletepoor JJ Yeley...
JJ Yeley done blowed up!
ReplyDeleteChevys going down tonight?
ReplyDeleteSo Newman's pro-tornados?
ReplyDeleteHe always seems to run well in the Tornados scheme.
ReplyDeletejon...
ReplyDeleteYou got a paint scheme cookin' for Kevin?
I was a bit surprised Tornado's didnt use the horrible weather as a donation/PR event. Kurt's PR guy still has no power...
ReplyDeleteCarl has splitter on the brain - better refocus!
ReplyDeleteWell, the usual suspects have gathered at the top...
ReplyDeleteAw geez, the stripe count!!
ReplyDeleteDwindy, not yet.
ReplyDeleteWell Folks...
ReplyDeleteI'm off (physically as well as mentally! LOL)
Enjoy the race!
Caution out, Gilly cut a tire and slapped the wall.
ReplyDeleteC-ya Dwindy, I am not far behind...
ReplyDeleteOUr buddy Dave the official is working the 24 pit tonight.
Jamie Mac and JPM taking two tires--interesting.
ReplyDeleteJPM coming to the front to find Newman?? LOL
ReplyDeleteJPM gave JJ a "love tap"!!!
ReplyDeleteWHOA!! JPM nails JJ
ReplyDeleteOkay gotta go too...hope you guys enjoy the rest of the race!
ReplyDeleteEdwards in the lead.
ReplyDeleteKatie eating a healthy portion of voodoo duck jerky dipped in voodoo duck sauce(the humans are having Chinese take out for dinner)
ReplyDeleteI'm here, bit late but here, lol
ReplyDeleteHey Tez!
ReplyDeleteSB, hope Katie's eating well!!
have to say I've missed a fair chunk of the race...watching the Vancouver/Nashville NHL playoff instead, lol
ReplyDeleteKyle about to put his brother a lap down--and thar he goes!
ReplyDeleteNice save by Truex--too bad he flattened the right rear tire.
ReplyDeleteunlucky he stopped after the cone so had to go around again.
ReplyDeleteand once again we witness the power of the Beagle's voodoo :o)
ReplyDeleteSB, can we see the Beagle's voodoo hex the Duck to a lap-down finish??
ReplyDeleteKyle Busch in for an unscheduled pit stop.
ReplyDeleteWhich means the Duck is out front. BOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
ReplyDeleteoh duck it, hey Jon? ;)
ReplyDeleteTez, LOL!
ReplyDeleteCaution out for JJ's wreck.
ReplyDeleteDAMN!! Vickers and Ragan wreck! Popped Vickers' car like a can opener!
ReplyDeleteYEAH BABY!! GO #29!!
ReplyDeleteIs Marcos a magnet for wrecks tonight? None of those wrecks have been of his doing! Logano's the third driver that's gotten loose and made contact with Ambrose!
ReplyDeletehe's a pinball wizard ;)
ReplyDeleteYeah, and he's still having a solid run! As for Harvick, he's checking out on the field now.
ReplyDeletewhat was Menard thinking, running over his own pit guy! :o
ReplyDeleteI hope Kahne picks the inside, but I think he'll pick the outside. If he picks the inside, Harvick will sing "Blue Bayou" as he passes him.
ReplyDeleteI think the pit guy made a last-second decision to clean the grill off the 27 and Menard was not aware of it.
ReplyDeletePit road is not a friendly place to be tonight
ReplyDeleteDefinitely not, CR!
ReplyDeletedang, Nashville force a game 6 with a win in Vancouver :(
ReplyDeleteTez, won't matter--whoever wins this series will lose to San Jose. I think this is San Jose's year to win the Cup.
ReplyDeleteI don't know, Jon...both Boston and Tampa look mighty impressive too.
ReplyDeleteJr with a pit road penalty--tough break.
ReplyDeleteTez, I HATE Boston!! I DON'T want them to win the Cup!!
ReplyDeleteI'm like that with Chicago! :P
ReplyDeleteDAMN, Edwards in the lead!
ReplyDeleteI got my trifecta picks backwards if Carl wins this, lol
ReplyDeleteC'MON, SOMEONE CATCH EDWARDS!!
ReplyDeleteI've got Hamster in the Trifecta.
ReplyDeleteYEA! CAUTION!!
ReplyDeleteanother EC engine, what is up with that this year?
ReplyDeleteI hope Edwards stays out!
ReplyDeleteEither way, Edwards is a sitting Duck.
ReplyDeletemaybe not, lots of others pitted too.
ReplyDeleteI'd have done the opposite of Edwards. If he pits, stay out. If he stays out, pit.
ReplyDeleteKyle Busch got into Harvick, who got into Bowyer. Busch flat out wrecked the two RCR cars. Per Harvick's crew chief: we'll get him (Kyle Busch) another time.
ReplyDeleteGO REGAN!!
ReplyDeletecool, well done Regan!
ReplyDeleteWAY TO GO REGAN!!!
ReplyDeletethat was rather funny with Kevin and Kyle, lol
ReplyDeleteKyle Busch flat out wrecked Ambrose this time!!
ReplyDelete
