It's still early. According to NASCAR.com, JJ flew back to Charlotte last night and returned to Chicago this morning. My guess is he's going to start feeling it in about 2 hours.
No, seriously. In my sophomore yearbook, there's a two page spread of the marching band with all the band members listed beneath the picture. Listed in the S's is "Schmuck, Eura."
So, cars race the leader hard to stay on the lead lap? Then they let the 2nd place guy breeze by? Thanks for explaining that Kyle.... FOR THE 1000th TIME!!!
We put it up same time again Tez! LOL
ReplyDeleteSo is JJ waiting to name is daughter "Victoria"?
Green green green!
has he ever been to Victoria?
ReplyDeleteLots of times! LOL
ReplyDeleteMy bud TR was on the prerace talking Alan Kulwicki today. That was cool.
Hey guys-
ReplyDeleteKristen, do you mind if I go in and delete the other post?
nice! Remind me again why I didn't pick Vader for this race in the trifecta?
ReplyDeletetez- because you picked the Hamster then traded him for Kasey
ReplyDeleteYea no problem SB - I cant find the page to delete the blogs anymore! LOL
ReplyDeleteThanks!!
Kurt is already complaining up a storm so he might be bad pick too !!

ReplyDeleteTruex is good early.
ReplyDeleteBe nice to see Truex (and Luke and Pat) win one...Tez you should probably root for Napa car in thanks for that autograph! LOL
ReplyDeleteCaution out...
I like Truex anyway...don't know why really, lol
ReplyDeleteCuz he is cute?! LOL
ReplyDeletePoor Marcos...all the way to the back
Marcos missing lug nuts???????
ReplyDeleteI'll continue my mantra; wait until Watkins Glen :P
ReplyDeleteI'm not gonna comment on that, Kristen, LOL!
ReplyDeleteI know nothing!
ReplyDeleteHe's got to win on an oval to be legit - look at JPM...not really legit yet.
SB do you get ESPN coverage next race?
true...Indy's coming up though and Monty went ok there last year until he bet his kids against the rulebook.
ReplyDeleteYup...we are in the grind of boring summer races dont remind me! LOL
ReplyDeleteIf someone is streaming it over the net, I'll get to see it; otherwise, I only get to see Bristol, Richmond and Charlotte.
ReplyDeletewhoever has the 'detonate engine' button for Vader, feel free to press it any time :P
ReplyDeleteUgh. You know you can log onto www.kurtbuschnation.com and get the live stream over the net and you dont have to listen to Kurt yapping and cursin!
ReplyDeleteBTW SB- might be coming to Austin sometime soon with hubby ... but you arent that close are you?
Nope, Lubbock is about 7 hour drive. Must do while you're there- take in a taping of Austin City Limits.
ReplyDeleteOh, and make sure you wear a lot of maroon and white
ReplyDeleteUgh, I am definitely not worth a 7 hour drive! LOL
ReplyDeleteWill be Fri- Sun so will see if that is possible. Any other hints esp good food!?
Hello, back from dinner... and see I haven't missed a, damn, thing.
ReplyDeleteSixth Street is where all the action is. Stubb's Barbecue is a legend.
ReplyDeleteHey Gene...whadya have?
ReplyDeletehowdy Gene. Nope, you ain't missed much at all.
ReplyDeleteHubby ate at Stubbs this week while he was there. Said 6th st was like drunk college kids extreme...but good taco trucks! LOL
ReplyDeleteAt a cookout.... since it finally dipped below 100. Burgers, and salads.
ReplyDeleteI posted the advance script on my FB Spinout page.
ReplyDeleteJJ wins, on another track that he hasn't won on yet, then names the baby Victoria in Victory Lane. Awww
awwww, poor Vader....
ReplyDeleteStubbs, "Ladies and gentlemen, I am a cook."
ReplyDeleteGood advance script Gene...burgers sound good to. Gotta figure out dinner yet.
ReplyDeleteHey, he's got a statue here in Lubbock. Would have stayed here, too, except Joe Ely convinced him to move to Austin.
ReplyDeleteApplebee's! :P
ReplyDeleteNo $5 apps by me Tez...
ReplyDeleteWhere is the debris caution?
ReplyDeleteI have one in Port Coquitlam apparently...or I can cross the border to Bellingham, lol
ReplyDeleteARCA race coming up from Iowa. On SPEED.
ReplyDeleteYea, happy and kurt are suckin!!! we need a debris caution....
ReplyDeleteCFL on TSN in an hour...go BC!
ReplyDeleteI have Kurt as my A driver this week on Yahoo. Boo Hoo.
ReplyDeleteOh Gene I could have told you not to pick him this week! LOL
ReplyDeleteI think I flipped to Kyle or Hamlin cant remember?
Woot there it is!! Debris...
ReplyDeleteUgh. Kurt coming in to change shocks on the car...he is WAY off tonight
ReplyDeletedang, Marcos just missed out on the lucky dog.
ReplyDeleteMaybe everything will change after dark? Fingers crossed.
ReplyDeleteBeat on the 2 with that shock!
Like better racing Gene...riiiight keep those fingers crossed! LOL
ReplyDeleteLove the way Ralph is paraphrasing Kurt - can tell you Kurt never mentioned a kitchen sink and mostly used words that started with F
ReplyDeleteI am so getting a NAPA diecast now!
ReplyDeleteIts better already!!!
ReplyDeleteWOOT! Apparently Martin is taking revenge on cars Gordon owns too...
ReplyDeleteJJ still in front of Kurt - thats annoying!
is the word 'firetruck', Kristen? ;)
ReplyDeleteI went to high school with Eura Schmuck :o)
ReplyDeleteclose but shorter tez! LOL
ReplyDeleteUGGHHH SB!
it has the right letters at least, lol
ReplyDeleteNo, seriously. In my sophomore yearbook, there's a two page spread of the marching band with all the band members listed beneath the picture. Listed in the S's is "Schmuck, Eura."
ReplyDeleteYup, exactly the right letters Tez!
ReplyDeleteSB you should send a copy of that to Letterman!
You mean Leno.
ReplyDeletehow is Sadler still on the lead lap?
ReplyDeleteLeno, Conan, Letterman, do them all! =) But yea, I guess its Leno that does that. I dont watch late night TV anymore...
ReplyDeleteChelsea Handler is the best late night show.
ReplyDeleteWho?? I am so not cool anymore...
ReplyDeleteShe's on E at 11 eastern. Snarky comments about celebs.
ReplyDeleteBest selling book ...'Are you there vodka, its me, Chelsea'.
Ohh, I know the book...will have to look for it. Did SportsChump ever watch all those reality shows?
ReplyDeleteKurts radio said 48 smacked wall, slow but no caution
JJ 2 laps down...woot!
ReplyDeleteVader has issues...2 laps down now. You sure that script doesn't say 'draft' on it, Gene?
ReplyDeleteThe book is pretty funny. And, she's the funniest female on TV.... Liz Lemon, 2nd place.
ReplyDeleteOh, now, the jinx works?
ReplyDeleteNICE DRIVING, ROBBY!
ReplyDeleteLooked like an ARCA wreck. Still happening 5 minutes after it starts.
ReplyDeletethat was rather bad luck on Robby's part though...you'd expect a car to roll down the track, not back up it.
ReplyDeleteARCA race is great.... except Mikey is yapping non-stop! Someone should tell him he's an analyst NOT play by play!
ReplyDeleteit's not quite the names up front I expected at least.
ReplyDeleteDW would say that losing a cylinder is a good thing on a track with short straightaways....
ReplyDeleteSo, why doesn't everybody kill one before the race starts?
wow harvick outta there...too bad. anyone hear Jon crying?
ReplyDelete=P
I've got Hamlin, Rooty, Menard, & Kahne so I am doing ok considering!
Jeff was my other A driver... the one sitting on the bench! Ugh!
ReplyDeleteI had Harvick last week at Daytona, and still lost 4 or 5 spots in the standings.
The scoring must be like your voting Gene...doesnt work! LOL
ReplyDeleteI have Menard and Kahne.... and .... kenseth ):
ReplyDeleteRooty is amazing tonight! Fight for the lead!
ReplyDeleteRooty!
ReplyDeletenew leader, the 00.......come on, Chad, you know you want to say that.
ReplyDeletewhen will the final debris caution fly?
ReplyDeleteand here it comes...
ReplyDeleteBu bye Biff...
ReplyDeletestill green.
ReplyDeleteDang it Rooty! Hang in there I need you to carry the Screw Loose Team!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like possible first time winner for 2010 at least
ReplyDeletenice slide for Scott there, lol
ReplyDeleteWe're in Chitown so its.... Root, root, root, for the Rooty... If he don't win its a shame.
ReplyDeletecome on, Rooty!
ReplyDeleteSo, cars race the leader hard to stay on the lead lap? Then they let the 2nd place guy breeze by? Thanks for explaining that Kyle.... FOR THE 1000th TIME!!!
ReplyDeleteI suspect I'll be making changes to the Trifecta before the F1 race?????
ReplyDeleteHi, folks! A little late. My Mom turned 70 today. Homemade ice cream, watermelon, strawberries and pound cake with whipped cream.
ReplyDeleteI think Reutimann looks like J.D. on Scrubs!!!
Go, Jamie!
woooooooooooooooooo!!
ReplyDeleteCool win - good job Rooty!
ReplyDeleteI am outta here...my trifecta is toast so nothing to do to save it! LOL
Have a good night all!
WTG, ROOTY! And, Childers!
ReplyDeleteG'night
great job to the whole #00 guys, they earned it tonight :)
ReplyDeleteHey Kristen- Kurt and Jr really stunk up the race. At least Kurt is still in the hunt for the chase.
ReplyDeleteJay
Kristen-
ReplyDeleteYou can take the 5 point penalty and swap this race for the F1 race.
