Wally and Kyle P join the long list of race announcers who tell us different than what we just saw. Looked like bad driving when Smith pulled into Marcos, to me.
Waiting on new screen for laptop. Maybe this week.
I'm here. I was glued to the F1 race. I'm kind of red-eyed today... was up till 3 am, watching leMans. Recorded the end, so have no idea what happened. But, it was crazy with 3 hrs to go... Guys were entering corners with way too much speed, and the track was so dirty, it looked like an L.A. freeway!
K....have you had the Freon checked in the A/C? Ask a friend or friend's trusty mechanic. Pep Boys or Auto Zone will charge an arm & a leg if that's what it's needs.
SB - nothing wrong with Texas other than it is not in my backyard and I cant pop over one afternoon to catch a game...Kelly going to Austin all the time for work these days. Will probably join him one of these times - maybe you can make the trek just once!?
Why are you watching commercials Gene? Dont you have DVR? My dad says I live in the past cuz I am rarely watching live tv but nascar is so much more tolerable when you can skip thru!
I'm trying to watch S.C. vs Coastal Carolina in college baseball super regionals, Nationals (Strasburg) vs Indians, and the race.... and somehow I keep seeing the dumb Closer commercials....on the bright side I just saw my 1st 'Grownups' commercial.
Is everybody sleeping already?
ReplyDeleteKyle and Wally certainly don't call it like it is.
I am around but not glued to TV - also a few min behind live...
ReplyDeleteHow are ya Gene? Fix your laptop yet?
Hey Gene, I'm here. Robby Gordon went gas only on that pit stop. He's a caution waiting to happen.
ReplyDeleteOoh, Ambrose again...means he is due at Sonoma!
ReplyDeleteIs it me, or is this race have the makings of a snoozefest?
ReplyDeleteKristen, I'm sure you're happy that Kurt's checked out!
ReplyDeleteHey folks.
ReplyDeleteWally and Kyle P join the long list of race announcers who tell us different than what we just saw. Looked like bad driving when Smith pulled into Marcos, to me.
Waiting on new screen for laptop. Maybe this week.
IMO Smith didn't give Marcos enough room.
ReplyDeleteGood or bad news? If Fox were televising how many times would we have seen and heard that Kyle B went from back to 9th in 17 laps? lol
ReplyDeleteLooked like Smith was low then went up high a lot faster than Marcos. That was a BIG dent in 47's rear end.
ReplyDeleteYea, I dont trust any announcers anymore - I try to watch with the sound off most of the time and just listen to Kurts radio.
ReplyDeleteI am happy to see Kurt checked out! He is running pretty awesome these days. I hope it holds to next week!
Thanks Larry... but isn't it dangerous for those guys to be trying to push or lift the front ends at 170 mph?
ReplyDeleteI'm here. I was glued to the F1 race. I'm kind of red-eyed today... was up till 3 am, watching leMans. Recorded the end, so have no idea what happened. ReplyDeleteCR you racing addict you! =)
ReplyDeleteI think Wally needs to talk less...Larry too.
I'm here....until the Aussie/Germany match starts anyway :P
ReplyDeleteKristen, I know... Second childhood? lol
ReplyDeleteCR....Congratulations to DILLON on graduating high school!
ReplyDeleteI paid $1 for a Dale Jarrett coke bottle at a yard sale. Everyone say WOW!lol
WOW...
ReplyDelete... and thanks, Bev!
ReplyDeleteWow...and yes congrats on Dillon's HS grad!
ReplyDeleteI am with you Terry - futbol! Did you get the last email I sent you about the razor and dinner options? I am having problems with my email...boo!
CR, congrats on Dillon graduating from HS!
ReplyDeleteyep, got your email, Kristen :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, all. We're really proud of him for all the honors, and for falling far from my academic tree! LOL
ReplyDeleteCousin Carl complaining he has that dreaded aero push.
ReplyDeleteSemi bad news Tez - the air conditioning just went out in my car...
ReplyDeleteoh well - we will be stinky race fans!
Green flag pit stops going on.
ReplyDelete...maybe, if I steal away in the night, I could show-up in Sonoma, buy a ticket to the show, and smell some blogging friens?
ReplyDeleteI've lost my d's! I should take a nap. Michigan Cup race could do the trick!
ReplyDeleteCR, you could probably buy a ticket the morning of the race.
ReplyDeleteKasey leading--that should make YeeMum happy!
ReplyDeleteIt's a road course. They should have SRO tickets available?
ReplyDelete...that's what I like about Laguna Seca. General admission tickets get you the best seats in the house... EVERY WHERE!
ReplyDeleteI'd call the track first to see if they have SRO tix available.
ReplyDeleteGood advice Jon.
ReplyDeleteCasey, WTH were you doing taking out your teammate like that?
ReplyDeleteThen to top it all off, he collides with David Ragan on pit road!
ReplyDeleteThanks Cord
ReplyDeleteYipee! Yes come for the day Cord - there are single day tickets on the website available and I am sure you can do walk up tickets.
ReplyDeletePoor Casey - although I would love to take out Scott Speed too...
Freaking battle for the lead between team Penske and we are watching Larry!?!? COME ON TNT!
ReplyDeleteOK, I've just been sent on a wifey errand. Back latter...
ReplyDeleteK....have you had the Freon checked in the A/C? Ask a friend or friend's trusty mechanic. Pep Boys or Auto Zone will charge an arm & a leg if that's what it's needs.
ReplyDeleteYea, Bev Thanks - hubby checked it - I apparently have a leak somewhere in the system. We luckily have a good mechanic thats fair!
ReplyDeleteJust wont have time to go before we head to Sonoma...so Tez and I will be cruising with the windows down!
Yawn!
ReplyDeleteFor the race... not y'all.
dang it, Germany scored again :(
ReplyDeleteSo Kristen, what's wrong with coming to Texas for a football game? (I wouldn't go to Austin, though.)
ReplyDeleteMy thought on today's 'Start Your Engines' "command".....SILLY.... and not in a funny way. Pathetic actually.
ReplyDeleteKevin James went from one of the best commands, to the absolute worst. Thanks, Waterboy!
Yawn agreed but at least Kurt is in it...
ReplyDeleteSB - nothing wrong with Texas other than it is not in my backyard and I cant pop over one afternoon to catch a game...Kelly going to Austin all the time for work these days. Will probably join him one of these times - maybe you can make the trek just once!?
Or you could come to Lubbock? It's closer :o).
ReplyDeleteHubby work for Dell????
Yea but we would fly into Austin direct..
ReplyDeleteHubby works for Apple - just bought some company in Austin that makes chip that runs the new Iphone...
How do you fly direct into Austin????? We can't even do that on Southwest.
ReplyDeleteIf Kyle could quit stuttering! Send him some drugs, Kristen!lol
ReplyDeleteThe high groove seems to be working for Happy.
ReplyDeleteI dunno SB! LOL Hubby says direct flight to Austin from San Jose - maybe Alaska?
ReplyDeleteNo way am I helping Kyle Bev...! LOL
After watching the 16th commercial for 'The Closer', I can definitely say that I will NEVER watch that load of garbage!
ReplyDeleteOk, I'm back. Although, I may drift off to sleep.
ReplyDeleteWhy are you watching commercials Gene? Dont you have DVR? My dad says I live in the past cuz I am rarely watching live tv but nascar is so much more tolerable when you can skip thru!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back CR! So you serious about the one day trek down?
ReplyDeletePretty sure Kurt is staying out on this one...lots of chatter on Kurts radio today and Roger has been rooting him on alot.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to watch S.C. vs Coastal Carolina in college baseball super regionals, Nationals (Strasburg) vs Indians, and the race.... and somehow I keep seeing the dumb Closer commercials....on the bright side I just saw my 1st 'Grownups' commercial.
ReplyDeleteBummer for Kyle...maybe now I'll give him meds!
ReplyDeleteWe're not talking about the same Kyle, are we? I was talking about Kyle, the announcer, stuttering.lol
ReplyDeleteLOL Bev OOOOOooooohhhhh I thought maybe you were listening in on Kyle's radio.
ReplyDeleteKurt happy with solid 3rd place...congrats to Hamlin!
I am outta here to a graduation party...bye!
Off to do my GBU. Later everyone.
