Daytona 500 Predictions

Just a few thoughts on who may win the Daytona 500 tomorrow. Not that this hasn't already been blogged to death!

    What? No Kevin Harvick? I do like either AJ Allmendinger or Jamie McMurray as dark horses. I like Harvick or Smoke to win this year's 500.

    Well, you know my personal choice is Tony Stewart. But for the sake of being realistic, I think it will come down to either Jimmie Johnson, Kevin Harvick, Kurt Busch or Kasey Kahne. These four have just seem to be the most consistent in all of their practices.

    And believe me, that makes me very upset to say that Tony is not one of my top four choices to win the Daytona 500.

    I am probably wrong, and I hope that I am. Because let's face it, restrictor plate racing is like shooting fish in a barrel. No telling which one will come out ahed.

    Can't comment on your blog Iowa -- how come?

    You know I will like your first pick! I think Kurt is one of the best restrictor plate racers without a win and he has a great shot this year despite tearing up 2 cars already. Dodge horsepower should also help now that they have some throttle control.

    Smoke looked good today but so did Harvick, Junior and Carl...

    Should be fun regardless of the winner, esp since whoever wins wont be Danica!! LOL
