GREETINGS FROM SW OKLAHOMA:
WELL I THOUGHT IT WAS SW OKLAHOME UNTIL ABOUT NOON YESTERDAY, WE HAD A STROM BLOW IN THAT HAS TAKEN OUT ABOUT HALF THE TREES AND POWERLINES AND POLES IN THIS CITY OF 100 THOUSAND PEOPLE.
WE WERE WITHOUT POWER FOR ABOUT 24 HOURS, DUE TO A TREE LIMB RIPPING THE SERVICE LINE OFF THE HOUSE. WE DO HAVE GAS SO OTHER THEN BEING IN THE DARK THINGS WERE NOT TO BAD. TS I DON'T NEED NAY REMARKS ABOUT BEING IN THE DARK. AN ELECTRICIAN FRIEND OF MINE DID GET US POWER BACK, TOLD ANN HAVE NO CLUE WHAT THAT WILL COST US, SHE SAID I DON'T CARE.
ANYWAY JUST WANTED TO LET FOLKS KNOW THAT WHILE IT AIN'T GREAT RIGHT NOW, IT COULD BE A WHOLE LOT WORSE, THE WAY IT WOULD BE WORSE IS IF DAYTONA WASA THIS WEEK AND MY CABLE IS RIPPED OFF THE HOUSE ALSO
THAT'S MY OPINION - WHAT'S YOURS

We're waiting to thaw out from the same storm. 60 degrees on Wednesday, then 1" of ice Thursday morning. Schools let out early yesterday, and no school at all today. One of the local tv stations had to evacuate their building because their transmission tower was in danger of collapsing due to all the ice.
ReplyDeleteSPEED,
