ReplyDeleteMy name is Patrick. I love NASCAR but the chase and COT has tempered my enthusiam. I have season seats for the Anaheim Ducks but the wonderfully perfect daughter goes more than I do lately. The Green Bay Packers are my favorite football team and I have been fortunate enought to travel to Lambeau field 3 times and several road games to see them play.

ReplyDeleteI'm 29 and work as an Engineering Technologist at the Abbotsford International Airport in BC. Am the only person I know who has not had a job in their home country as I moved to NZ straight out of Uni (2003) before coming to Canada in 2008 on a working visa. My parents and sister still live in Australia and, up until last year, I had had all my Christmases there.
I got into NASCAR in 2004 when I signed up for Sky TV. Since I was a rookie, I decided it was only fair to follow one as well (Kasey Kahne). One of the few people who like the current Cup car but that may be due to my preference of road courses which this car has delivered better races on than I can recall from 04-06.
Favourite blogging memory of 2009...a toughie given there have been a few but I'll go with squeaking out a win in the trifecta on the weekend of my girlfriend's birthday :)
Another favorite memory....My Kevin Costner from Bolt for my 50TH BIRTHDAY! Thanks again, Bolt!

ReplyDeleteA favorite memory came to me....It was my blog on pulling for Dale, Jr., after Dale Jarrett retired. Hanahan left a comment that Dale, Jr. needed all the fans he could get and then he said, "Stay classy." I didn't "stay classy." I compromised. To several people, I want to offer an apology....To Gene, to Bruce and to Goutdaddy, I apologize. In 2010, I'm going to let God do my talking for me and if God gives me back a piece of what He had gave me before I let this thing called "flesh" or "pride" or "ego" take over, I will thank Him. Licensing and Compliance Mgr for a trucking company.
CR Racing was for the fanatasy Fox racing. Then one day I read a remark by some low life, and I couldn't resist responding. Didn't know my screen name would be the same as my fantasy team. If I could have chosen a screen name that day, it probably would have been something antagonistic!
I like Mustangs, but I've used several avitars; Wiley Coyote, Happy Harvick sunburst icon, Ryan Newman, etc.
LOL...Funny stuff.....too bad Fox ruined a good thang....
