Race Chat- New Hampshire

Well, here we are at the 1st race of the Chase. So with 10 races to go:

  1. Who is your pick to win it all?
  2. Who is your dark horse candidate?

Katie will start off with Tony Stewart and Denny Hamlin.

    Did you see in the pre-race that Penske is only letting Pat and Kurt together on race weekends? That's just stupid.

    Oh, I thought it was darkhorse for the race!! LOL

    Then my answer is JJ to win the Champ and Kurt is my darkhorse.

    Pat is only involved in the 2009 stuff - he is in the shop on Tuesdays but the rest of the time he is only communicating with the guys via email/calls etc. THey are a pretty tight crew and the car chief Jeffery THousand is super experienced so my guess is they will be ok.

    I did find it funny what Rusty said about Penske keepign the secrets from Pat - when it was Pat that brought them all the secrets! LOL

    DOES ANYONE HAVE AN ANSWERTOTHIS QUESTION.

    SEVERAL YEARS AGO WE HOSTED A NATIONAL YOUTH BASSEBALL TOURNAMENT AND WE HAD THE CHAMPIONS FROM MEXICO AS ONE OF THE TOURNAMNET TEAMS. WE WERE TOLD THAT ACCORDING TO PRTOCOL THAT WE AHD TO PLAY BOTH THE US NATIONAL ATHEM AND ALSO THE NATIONAL ATHEM OF MEXICO, HOW IS IT THAT WE GET AWAY WITH NOT HAVING TO DO THE SAME THING FOR MONTOYA AND AMBORSE.

    AM NOT BITCHIN' JUST WONDERING ABOUT IT, THE INFORMATION WE GOT WAS FROM THE PUBLIC AFFAIRS OFFICE AT FT. SILL OKLAHOMA SO WOULD THINK THEY MIGHT HAVE AN IDEA

    Let me clarify above -- Either we should play all the anthems of the participants (which means we should start a good 3 hours ahead since the crews should be considered too) or we should just play the National Anthem and call it good.

    Not sure what to make of that race - good racing at the end tho. What the heck - no interviews with anyone?!? ABC/ESPN coverage sucks! They dont prioritize nascar at all...
